Killing Battle Pets? Seriously?

what about the world quests where you do a pet battle and all the trainers? Are they still going to be around in midnight? Will we still have the matches with other players too? Is it going away completely or just the pets in the wild part?

There is no official word on whether there will be any pet battle tamers or world quests in Midnight, but there are no sign of any on the Alpha, and it’s not looking good.

There is a statement that existing wild pets and battles will not be changed or removed:

All parts of the pet battle system that were implemented in previous expansions should continue to operate as they have before.

This seems to cover PvP as well as older quests and world quests.

However, given their avoidant posture, I wouldn’t count on any future Trading Post activities unless they have a change of heart or of plan.
