you need to read up on the wow lore. yes bovar was acting in his stead, king varian was manipulated by onixiya however you spell it. she split him into to 2 people. 1 she was controlling the other got away and was forced to fight in the horde arena.
dead is dead, also voljin isnt gone his soul is still lingering around. varian is gone for good, voljin did not play the same role as thrall and varian did. he was simply a filler.
Thrall got huge, heâs been in Outland becoming a warrior again. Canât wait for the eventual meeting of Jaina, Rexxar, and Thrall. If they can manage that interaction as it should be played out, it should be a spine-tingling encounter. If Jaina wasnât already the final boss of DazarâAlor Iâd say that their reunion at Theramore shouldâve been the final fight of BFA, with Thrall or Jaina or both dying.
all i remember from that quests was following his wife around and her saying. âoh thrall is so powerful he could burn us all alive! oh hes the best char on azeroth cuz all he wants is a babeh!â
the whole time i was thinking, great what now is he going to use some artifact to almost 1 shot deathwing because the dragon aspects are not strong enough to use it?
Seems the term mary sue has lost all meaning. Now it seems to be used to talk about any character a person doesnât like as opposed to a character without flaws (yes i know thatâs not the full meaning, but neither Thrall nor Anduin fit the definition)
If the Alliance canât see, then clearly the Horde is blind.
Killing civilians and raising them as Forsaken in Silverpine was okay
Destroying Southshore is somehow okay
Attempting genocide on the Night Elves is also somehow okay too.
Dropping a literal nuke on Theramore was totally fine as well.
Being the first to weaponize Azerite was totally okay too right?
And how about in Stonetalon killing that sect of druids that was totally okay too.
Iâm guessing it was totally fine to also attack Gilneas city and displace the Gilneans from their homes?
A Mary Sue is an idealized and seemingly perfect fictional character. Often, this character is recognized as an author insert (IMB4 NATHANOS TWITTER OMG) or wish fulfillment. They can usually perform better at tasks than should be possible given the amount of training or experience, and usually are able through some means to upstage the main protagonist of an established fictional setting, such as by saving the hero.
Mary Sue storiesâthe adventures of the youngest and smartest ever person to graduate from the academy and ever get a commission at such a tender age. Usually characterized by unprecedented skill in everything from art to zoology, including karate and arm-wrestling. This character can also be found burrowing her way into the good graces/heart/mind of one of the Big Three Kirk, Spock, and McCoy, if not all three at once. She saves the day by her wit and ability, and, if we are lucky, has the good grace to die at the end, being grieved by the entire ship.
Anduin definitely fits the mold of a person able to perform tasks better than should be possible giving the amount of training or experience he has had. He seems to have an unprecedented skill in everything he does. He can physically do no wrong, burrowing himself into the good will of the player character. All at the tender age of 18.
Looks at every OP Demi-God the Alliance currently has ⊠then looks back to a depowered Thrall (who even during his pinnacle could barely serve as a counter to someone like Jaina, Malfurion, Velen, or Tyrande). Now the Alliance has Anduin, Turalyon, and Alleria to add to that roster.
Yup ⊠its certainly Thrall that is the Mary Sue.
But he has made mistakes, he let Sylvanas lure him into a trap. Had it not been for Jaina, heâd be dead. He was the one who convinced the Panderan to open their shrines up to us which allowed Garrosh to get the piece of the heart of the old god and use it to destroy the vale. (He then was foolish enough to get too close to Garrosh who almost crushed him to death)
