The last thing this game needs is more bad writing, and killing off Anduin would be bad writing.

The devs/writers don’t want to give the alliance a cool leader. Honestly would rather have him step down ,allowing Genn or Tyrande to run things. But you know that ain’t gonna happen. The devs worry more about players transferring to alliance . They want to keep the horde population numbers above that of the alliance. From a player perspective you just have to look at all the extra work hordeside gets. No lame horse mounts hashed over and over for example. Also some how Anduin just “becomes king” of stormwind. No quest or event showing him being made king. Then some how all the alliance races have to follow his rule. When he hasn’t done anything to earn the title of leader of the alliance. It’s like they honestly spend there budget on horde , instead of evening things out for both sides. There not even trying to make the alliance players feel any type of faction pride. 8.3 is just gonna further that narative even more.
Dude come on thats just being edgy. It barely entertains a 12 year old goth kid.
The best explanation we have had is the writers telling us “The Horde had to do it! Please be convinced! Dont think about it!”

Malfurion is leader of the druids not Tyrande. And the druid factions are neutral to the Horde vs Alliance war.

Yeah, Mal and Tyra are leaders of the nelves. But Mal is the sole leader of the druids not Tyra. And Mal only intervenes if it involves the emerald dream or druids. So i don’t think he would take part in leading the Alliance unlike Tyra,
Anduin is a pacifist. And sadly being a pacifist against Sylvanas will not work. This is not Thrall we are dealing with here, this is Sylvanas. This is why I believe Anduin is just not the right leader for the Alliance to have, he should just remain king and make someone else the supreme commander of the Alliance. King Llane, may peace and blessings be upon him, had Lothar as his supreme commander back in the day, I see no reason why Anduin can not do the same. Alliance needs somebody who can take on Sylvanas heads on. And yes, this may require someone who is more morally grey but I don’t mind that. Right now, Sylvanas is destroying us. We need somebody who can take it to her. I hate the fact that Anduin is trying to copy his dad, by making military decisions and being on the battlefield all the time. Anduin is not his dad. Varian was a warrior-king, Anduin is not. Anduin can not take on Sylvanas. He doesn’t really have any hands-on practical military experience nor any combat experience like his dad did growing up. Let’s be realistic, how many real military campaigns has Anduin been in growing up? With all due respect, he should just remain king and appoint a supreme commander just like King Llane (may peace and blessings be upon him) did during the First War.

Tyra doesn’t have to do anything with druidism. She’s the leader of the nelves and the Elune worshipping.
Typical Horde trash thread. “Murder all the Alliance leaders. Kill everyone destroy and flatten Stormwind(again) and kill all the (boring)Humans. Disband the Alliance so that each faction can be whipped out individuality.” Because whole scale genocide is still not palatable by 50.1% of the horde player base so “we will do it in small batches”. Horde players and their forum trolls and the stain on the human condition.

He’s right. Alliance can not win this war by being pacifists… And our king is the biggest pacifist alive. Anduin doesn’t realize that the person he is dealing with is Sylvanas NOT Thrall. Maybe Thrall could have got along with Anduin but this is Sylvanas. Anduin will get us all killed playing kumbaya with her.
