meanwhile proper arena brackets are what its all about. the whole game is balanced around 3’s… not shuffle. remember?

You’re living 20 years in the past. RSS is the future. 3’s is boring, dead, and a solved game of meta comps vs meta comps dictating what fun you’re allowed to have in pvp based on playing a specific setup comp with specific CC chains for burst windows.
Not being tied to a set of partners, their availability, your availability, sweatlord comps, sweaty/frothy nerd-lingo packed discord channels, and getting to play the game/have fun/get transmogs/gear/honor all at the same time?
Heck, take out everything BUT RSS.

well, your name says it all.
what you want is to get conq points for basically playing rand bg.
but see, the environment is called “competitive” for a reason. what you call ‘sweaty’ i call… having your shiz together and actually trying/applying yourself. something the young folk these days dunno anything about.
but theres a whole generation that actually wants to buy a car from an app on your phone. so, yeah. ppl wanting to just click their mouse one time to queue up and play for actual points was bound to come around.
the only problem is, the idea is crap. shuffle is heavily flawed and sorry, shuffle kiddos are just gonna have to develop some bare bones social skills to scrape together 2 more ppl and q up in 3’s like everyone else has for YEARS AND YEARS.
tough shizzle, kiddos. ppl that feel the way your casual self does = much of whats wrong iwth pvp. its not always the game, sometimes its the thinking of the humans playing hte game. and yours is clearly not in alignment with what rated pvp actually is. thats not good or bad, just the way it is.
away with you, sonny, and get off my lawn etcetc. go back to rand bg’s where you clearly wanna play. not that theres anything wrong with that.

I’d almost agree with this except I enjoy AWC, but didn’t enjoy their SS competition
no, they wont. the queues are what they are for simple reasons that will never change.
not enough ppl play healer. the reasons why we all pretty much already know. this will not change because human nature will not change. they can affect this to a small degree i think (not a huge difference, but some) if they figure out some way to incentivize healers. mogs/appearances, something. anything. wicked awesome mounts, something. who knows.
and… the other problem is logistics. in shuffle you have to wait on all 6 spots being populated rather than just your team finding a suitable opposing team like in 2’s/3’s. so now you have to wait for TWO healers to get filled in? haha ok blizz. great thinking.
seriously, shuffle is a shiz-show of the highest order, fundamentally flawed in many ways and needs to be scrapped until further revising, if even that. id like to see it gone and they just change the things that make ppl not wanna queue to begin with.

yes it is, just like dps have the longest queue for dungeons… dps in overwatch have longer queues than either tank or support… and so on. its not like no one knows what this is about. this problem is as old as gaming itself, more or less. it wont change. the humans that play these games are what they are… most ppl just wanna pew-pew.
So why would a dps want to eliminate content… questioning the reasoning of the post really.

The only reason they want it gone is so healers queue into it more, still get 1min queues in 3s.
i mostly play rsham these days but no, youre still off base. not eliminating content, just getting rid of something that doesnt work (shuffle) and fixing/revising something that was semi-fine (normal rated arena)
lets have a thought experiment;
lets say healer participation was just as high as dps, and
dps and overall pvp balance was pretty near perfect
if those 2 things were true dont you think pvp/arena participation would be way higher, thered be little or nothing to complain about AND no one would have ever really wanted or needed shuffle to exist?
so like i said… go to the root of the problem. the way to fix shuffle is to eliminate shuffle, its awful… then “fix” a few other things.
its been 18ish years. a little less if you start counting right around the end of wrath, which is when things really started going downhill.
3s arena has never been a good game mode in WoW. It has always been a niche, clown-heavy bracket. Solo Shuffle is a significantly better indicator of individual skill than 3s.

You do get conq for playing random BGs. Lots of it. Significantly more than any arena.
The environment you described was RSS. RSS is “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” mentality, in that you can’t pay someone to carry you in RSS.

Tough shizzle, kiddo. The numbers speak for themselves - RSS has an overwhelming player count, and LFG for 3’s is completely dead.
Are you okay IRL? You seem unstable. None of your characters are over 1600 lifetime in any bracket. Your lifetime highest was literally in RBG’s. Significantly higher than any of your other brackets. I do enjoy that you swapped from Shaman to Warrior when warriors got buffed repeatedly, though.

i have more than one account, genius. i dont post on it because i wanna be able to post on forum without getting the usual messages and asking for a carry etcetc. i just dont have the time. you tried being cute looking at a char list but those are just test toons to learn about cd’s, which a real healer does. you of the phone-app generation wouldnt understand xDDD
as usual, my logic cannot be defeated. the minute you kids start attacking me instead of my argument, youve lost. besides, plain old participation numbers in shuffle (duh, low hanging fruit requiring clicking your mouse once) arent much evidence in your favor.
the fact remains that if bad thing X, Y, and Z were fixed properly, shuffle never woulda been wanted OR needed.

so far all you do is try to be all hard, but the wall of logic youre beating your head against is far harder still. so far you havent presented one single thing about shuffle which is healthy for the game or otherwise good… OR intrinsically better than normal rated arena.
granted, arena was never perfect but its a far cleaner better concept than shuffle. and like i said… slowly this time so it sinks in… if a couple certain things were fixed, then arena would suddenly be just grand even for the TLDR generation. ta da, everyone wins =D

You have over 700 games played across your warrior, and shaman on that account. Both sub 1500. Both over 415 pvp ilvl. All verifiable in a few mouse clicks for free. If you’re ashamed of who you are, you can go hide your alts on check-pvp, but don’t make the fake “alt account” nonsense. If you had an alt account, you wouldn’t have 443 games of 2v2’s on arms warrior sub 1600 bracket.
Not being hard. I’m pointing out that you do not have enough game experience to make these statements, and your “BG” claims are hilarious considering your highest lifetime bracket was 1700 RBG’s.
Shuffle is better than 3’s. Adapt or die. Forced meta comps for 20 years, the same exact thing every game over 2400… It’s boring. There’s a reason people get mount and then quit, or go boost. Once you hit that threshold? Nothing to do except make a new toon.
I don’t play Paladin. I’m very clear in my post history what I play, and what ratings. They’re even named in there, for you to readily verify if you need to.

So much overreaction lol. There is a new game mode in, people are going to play it. Other game modes will suffer for a bit. How about we wait longer than a month before we jump to conclusions like this?
im gonna say this for the 17th time… multiple accounts. i stream so i post on whatever the hell char cuz i dont want the traffic coming my way. youre really gonna have to broaden your horizons. imagine not being able to afford more than one account? a consideration if still living at home with the folks or something.
shuffle isnt better than 3s. my shuffle rating is pretty decent but im waiting to see what they do with decay since i think ill stop playing it entirely. i dont care for the janky-ness of it… something ive noticed in other aspects of the game. i think they started hiring less-experienced coders in the past year or two. bound to happen at some point.

your other statements about arena amount to nada, since its basically just your opinion. mine however, are based on logic/reason. just because YOU gave it up after supposedly getting your mount doesnt mean most others did.
