Maybe, I’ve literally gotten kicked on an alt before and all I said was hello. Lol
So you were pulling and tanking and that was not your role. mmhmmm.
Kick is working exactly as intended.
Sometimes a series of posts on some frivolous topic is a harbinger of forumplay and gameplay changes to come.
What are you talking about? I am afraid what you wrote does not make your point clear. Can you clarify please?
It was probably more like.
Tank must be only auto attacking. Clearly a noob.
Which is “technically” what OP said, but has a totally different feel to it.
sure — my apologies for being vague.
The kick is working exactly as intended. Nothing ruined about the game and nothing needs to be adjusted.
I hope that helps clear things up.
Kicking is rare. I mostly see it when someone is afk for quite a while, which isn’t often. People who are often on the receiving end of a vote kick should practice introspection.
This is the first expansion that i am doing very little dungeons with players, except for LFR. If i am wanting to do my dungeon world quest, than i use my followers. No need to be kicked by trolls. Waiting for 30min deserter debuff to be over is major waste of my time.
all i say is ty when im accepeted and ty again after a run. saying that much is probably already dangerous as is lmao

People who care this much about being removed from the group have to be on some kind of spectrum, literally who cares.
Also it sounds like they kicked you because you kept pulling trash and the healer got tired of healing you.
presses x
Votes to kick only happen in auto queue content, specifically dungeon finder and LFR.
Queue with at least two friends. That’s what I/we do. It’s literally all that can be done. The system has to exist. It also has to punish the kicked because people abused a system where that wasn’t the case. Follower dungeons exist. Queue with friends. I know it doesn’t cover everything but there is literally nothing else that can or will happen because WoW won’t pay for the “you said a swear, banned forever” live moderation of “the other game.”
I’ll add it to the list.
With maybe one or two exceptions, any time I got kicked it was justified and I understood. It was almost always because I got disconnected and couldn’t come back in time. I was already out of the group.
One time I barraged a bunch of extra trash and I was laughing when I saw “You have been removed from the group” pop up but it was my fault. I got careless and deserved it.
One time I got a mount drop and I got kicked before I even figured out that it was ME who won it. Again, I laughed.
I can only remember one or two times where I got booted for no obvious reason, but when that happened I just either closed the game for a while or hopped on another toon until the debuff was gone.
I honestly have no idea what all these other people are doing to just keep getting booted one random after another.
If you’re frequently getting kicked from groups the problem is you, sorry.
If you’re making a forum post about how the kick system is awful because you got removed for one (1) silly/unfair reason, you need to learn to let stuff go.
Simple heuristic:
- Am I getting kicked often?
If yes, you’re the problem.
- Did I get kicked one time for a dumb reason?
If yes, let it go. It’s 30 minutes. Go read a book or something.
A few WoW truths…
- If you allow kicking it will be abused. People will get kicked unfairly.
- If kicking isn’t allowed, idiots will unfairly hold groups hostage.
The only solution is to find a guild or group of friends who are like-minded that you can do group content with. There is nothing Blizzard can realistically do to change the above player behavior.
Not that i expect you to tell the truth but what did you do to get kicked?
Now tell us the REAL reason why you got kicked.
There is always another part of the story that gets left out.
The fact that you immediately whispered the entire group and then came right to the forums to make a AITA post kind of tells us more than the rest of the post.
