I left a plaguefall run after the 4x illidan members decided to skip. It sucks having to take a debuff, but I was the odd man out and wasn’t about to try and convince them to kill bosses they didn’t need.

I think a tank should ask before they skip but they’d likely be kicked for not constantly running into mobs. This is why you can’t hide key recipes on optional bosses.

Considering you are 53, was this blackrock depths? This is a large dungeon and doing the full thing can take a substantial amount of time. Deviating from the assigned bosses usually means the tank is lost, which means a lot of aimless wandering. The only other boss I can think of that is skipable in dungeon finder is (names escape me) the shaman guy from the vashir dungeon.
That said you should not be locked out. That isn’t right, I don’t care what the reason was. The kick feature should just make you someone else’s problem, and let them decide if that even is a problem.

Yeah this whole week I have seen mythic geared tanks just blowing through regs so the for no real reason at all, if they were at least going to do all the boss no worries. But they seem only interested in speed running this stuff, I feel they need to make the random dungeon bonus only go off if all the bosses listed are killed.

THAT right there is always the biggest red flag for me, if it’s a guild group and none of them were willing to tank or find one from their guild, it’s going to be a bad run.

Was this a leveling dungeon?
I can understand this but tanks in Cata ruined it for everyone demanding to be kicked instead of just leaving a instance they didn’t want to run to avoid the debuff. So debuff comes with both leaving and being kicked now.

I que for a dungeon because I wanted to do a dungeon. you know play the game that we spend money on every month… weird right.

If they outnumbered you and asked to skip, and you pulled anyway, it was justified.
If they didn’t say anything and kicked you after, then that’s dumb.
I find it silly that folks are skipping bosses to get to the end for the renown. Don’t you get more quickly from raids and bgs? Why spam dungeons and and gimp folks after gear?
Last few days on my ally alt i just needed certain gear to get at least heroic pieces. So if boss 1 has that slot ill kill it then afk or ask them to remove me since doing the rest is not worth it.
Hahah, the classic 3 man guild group dictatorship - I feel if you wish to use lfd as a premade you have to be 5 man else no go .

Yep.
Most plagues I run we establish skip or no skip. No skip picked its 4 bosses. Skip selected? well its get on the mount and ride it like we stole it to boss 3.
My rng luck is terrible of late. I’d rather have the easy fast clear. But I kill whatever is pulled, I go with the flow.
I think it’s just laziness… it takes 1-2 mins?.. or, is it more effort to skip than just to do it?.. Agree, and I am not a tank. Also, there are some people who que who NEED those bosses. Just sayin.
