Some of us have busy lives and all their friends quit the game years ago and so play solo because they like the lore and periodically enjoy difficult content
I mean, it’s only slightly more than that. I just don’t think it’s something they want to encourage or they WOULD make it even easier than what it is.
Try joining a regional M+ discord, you’re more likely to find quality players there then just randos in LFG
I don’t know why people get so salty about IO. It’s literally nothing but a quick way to see content people have done so you don’t have to armory everyone who apps to your key/raid. People might get mad about getting declined but everyone with a high IO started at 0 just like everyone else.
Someone who has timed 10+ 15 keys is less likely to have bought runs, or to screw up a run than someone with 1 timed run, or someone who has never done the content before.
Bro I barely learned was discord was this year due to covid
didn’t even know such a thing existed
Perhaps a fair punishment is that if someone leaves, the leavers key (in bag or next key they receive if there is no key in the bag) is automatically reduced by 1. This would have a stacking effect until they use that key.
Granted, this seems really difficult to do based on how I think all the systems work, so it’s unlikely to happen.
But that was what I said lol
I think it gets weird cuz some folks reject people who haven’t done that specific key already but if nobody gives them the chance then how will they ever get in lol
But that’s, I think, the minority
I can’t see why not. You’re not gaining an advantage being able to downgrade a key before you even start.
You are correct, you’re not, was just saying it doesn’t seem like it is something they want to encourage. They want people to push themselves as much as possible, not downrank I guess, but it’s all just guesses, we don’t know what they want.
Well at least they’re consistent. We never know what they want lol!!
For a week we thought they wanted to make Torghast a pain to go through, and yesterday they nerf everything to the ground, so yea, we never know lol.
I’m a pug DPS main. I had to level my own keys each season to run 15+'s. Hell I’ve had weeks where I got the wrong key on the wrong affix week and couldn’t get a group going and had to drop my key down to an ez clap run just to level it back up for a different dungeon people would actually app to at a higher level many times.
Being a pug player is basically taking on the responsibility of making your own opportunities. I wouldn’t want someone with no experience in my run, greatly increasing the likelihood I’ll not be able to time content, and wasting everyone’s time.
I think this would be a great QOL change. Your key doesn’t deplete if other people leave it prematurely
No that’s a horrible idea. Then if you aren’t likely to time and are trying to push to just ask your buddy to leave the key at boss #2.
That’s such an easy system to abuse I don’t get how y’all don’t see it. Also if you degrade the leavers key instead of your own you just get a buddy and never run their key. Lol
That’s such an easy system to abuse I don’t get how y’all don’t see it.
How exactly is it an abuse or exploit to restart a dungeon that doesn’t give loot until you finish it? How is it an exploit to repeat content with zero gains?
Please by all means explain.
Likewise I think at the Keystone thing, there should be an option to intentionally bring the keystone down if the player so chooses.
Unless something has changed since BFA, there kind of is a way, zone into dungeon on your own, start key, zone out, reset dungeon. Repeat until you have your desired level of key.
There could easily be a window at least. If someone leaves within the first ten minutes, that should be fine, even with degenerate behavior like you’re talking about
Could be abused like crazy.
I don’t see how. Most leaves, in my experience, happen around the first boss.
