Ketchup does not go on sushi!

It was basically on every restaurant’s menu card. Before sushi became popular you just had Chinese/Indo restaurants here and you could order applesauce with whatever. Wild times.

Never heard about that butter though.

It goes on Hot Dogs Chicago Style…

I’m not big on ketchup or whatever as I only use it sparingly on fries (dipping sauce style). What brand would be the “expensive” ketchup?

Heinz? There’s not a brand here that costs more than what Heinz charges for a bottle.

It’s really not that bad. Ketchup on Sushi is a disgrace tho!

Wasabi on pizza (after cooking ofc)

Some of us also put ketchup on everything because it is great for covering up the taste of icky foods like liver and… sushi.

What crime against humanity is this. Ketchup on Sushi?

KETCHUP ON SUSHI?!

Call the Hague!

Ketchup on Sushi sounds like a Toronto thing making it double disgusting.

NAAAAHHH

Don’t put that on us GTA’ers. I’ve never seen Ketchup available as a toping in any sushi places.

this sounds like someone who has massive masochistic issues.

They buy their milk in bags.

If I’m not eating it myself, most of the time other people can put whatever they want on their food. It only becomes a problem when it starts affecting me, like horrendous smells, or I have to look at them eating it (not super likely).

Well yeah. Itr’s just more convenient for large purchases. takes up less room, easy to freeze. less overall waste.

and full of microplastics!

Honestly, Can’t speak to that. I actually don’t buy milk in bags (I don’t use milk a lot, just 1l a month typically). Silly genetics and lactose intolerance.

Although, you do raise a good point. Just did a search and yes, Plastics do seem to get found in the milk.

Don’t feel bad. We’ve all been lied to because you need oil to make plastics, plastics are lighter weight thus cheaper to ship… and this was all about making money vs our health. When people wake up we’ll go back to glass… hopefully.

I’d be fine with proper recycled tetra boxes for milk. Probably best overall solution. But as I said, Not a big milk user.

Still. There’s no excuse for Ketchup on Sushi. That’s not even a Toronto thing. I’ve never ever seen it around here.

Cannot even fathom who would be that cray

I found the offender. Koi Japan Sushi Toronto. Apparently they do a type of fried sushi with meat that degenerates have been putting ketchup on.

I’m going to have to organize a protest against this clear violation of human rights.
