Since this is likely the last time the event will occur. Just let everyone do one of the best quest lines ever put into the game. Still would have fewer people with a bug mount than the 40,000+ Rank 14s running around

You can still do the quest after the gates open, you just won’t get the mount (or title in tbc)

No skin in the game. I don’t care about the mount or title. I just want to be High Warlord number 23480 (then Conqueror, again), so let them have their fun too, I guess.

I mean, I am HELLA biased because I’m pouring as much time as possible into trying to get this (even took time off work), but I would definitely love seeing it stay doable a bit longer. It’s a pretty stessful event in the first place, and creates a lot of friction between players even in the same guilds. Being able to pad that out, even just for like a month, would probably lead to a better overall experience.

they could do mount for the normal 10 hours then anyone who does the quest line gets the title in TBC least wont see 100,000 GMs/HWs then
just because players are GM or HW dont mean they are good at the game… its literally just a participation trophy with weapons that will be replaced in AQ.
Some servers delayed the event for months to get as many Scarab Lords as possible, others popped it off week 2.
Would be nice to have a “window” instead of RNG based off server

Really all Blizzard ever had to do was double the amount or swap the items needed.
I’ll say, given the event was originally said to be in Fall as well, it would be nice to get a little extra time for those of us who actually thought we would have more time based on Blizzard’s info

I think they did a great job screwing as many tryhard RMT idiots as possible.
Blizz should just let anyone who completes the questline to get the mount/title from here on out. Just keep the gong there for all of eternity until they shut the servers down, lol
Might as well just mail a roach to every character once they hit 60.

Nearly choked to death reading this. Partially because it was funny to me, partially because if Blizzard were to do this I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised. People were RMTing for Scarab Lord anyways, Blizzard might as well cash in on it.

The early access would be the one I’'d be concerned about though. TWW release was just a test. They’re gonna bring it again. Just because I believe it will remain a retail thing doesn’t mean it’s healthy for the game overall.
And it’s not “frontline soldier” it’s definitely at least a high ranking officer. Cuz Anni got all those r14s out here.
No for all the people to work incredibly hard on this to be screwed over by devs having no clue what they are doing because they fired most of the staff is insane open this back up it literally states u got 5 days from completion of war effort not 3 and a half fix your own mistakes
