Comparing twin fights across the various dungeons on Tyrannical 20-
Naeno and Trix (JY Twins) have a combined health pool of ~6 million HP, while giving players access to Shock Bots and Grease bots. You can also gain a massive amount of Dreadlord stacks depending on the boss order.
Rocketspark and Borka (GD 1st boss) have in total around ~11 million HP, but also includes a damage vulnerability phase. Using the wall pull, you’re also able to get a decent chunk of Dreadlord stacks (7 stacks).
Wikket has a shared health pool of 14 million HP. You can get a grand total of THREE Dreadlord stacks before the boss, there is no borrowed power like Grease Bots or Shock Bots, there is no damage amp phase… and worst of all, there are numerous adds that you need to constantly swap to.
The Grimrail Twin boss feels long and drawn out as you go up in keys and Wikket completely eclipses it. It’s completely dumb. Wikket is dumb. It needs a massive nerf, this is not really a debate, it’s just factually stupid.
And let us go the back way and come up to stage last. That locked door is dumb. Or can rogues unlock it so we can come back for wicket with like 5000 stacks?
I’ve been plowing through 10s on my rogue until I finally got lower kara. That fight was silly hard compared to every other boss. Just soooo much damage going out.
After 3 wipes we managed to get it somehow as everyone was dead around 1% and I guess the bosses died to dots or something. Every other boss just fell over after that.
God I felt like doing grimrail depot was pulling teeth honestly, I can’t imagine doing Karazhan at all this week. Blizzard seriously screwed up the scaling for upper and lower health and DPS wise honestly for a lot of the bosses. They’ve been so slow to change everything too, even though they were going to “front load all changes”, they wait until the end of the week to do anything about it. When it’s too late to actually be impactful and more than likely in the case of affixes it won’t even be an issue given the season is going to be so short. Yet they just keep patting themselves on the back acting like they just did gods work to the game, when it’s still a complete mess and joke of a season.

People dont realize its not the adds that’s messing with your key, it’s actually the blonde boss flashy bolt casts. you MUST interrupt every single one of them or your group will fall apart. Adds are fine, Flashy bolt not so much
You can not pull them unless you’re using AOE as the fight stops, otherwise they cannot be pulled at the outset while the Opera event is still in progress.
Yes that is true they have not come when the Opera event was in play but when fighting the actors from the hall on the stage.
Either way something aggro’d them when they were not directly attacked.
Ya those guys have been aggro’able when the Opera event ends since Return to Karazhan was added back in Legion. In fact, I’m almost positive they were aggro’able back when Karazhan was a raid in TBC.
Blizzard needs to stop being complete ret*rds and nerf/tune this appropriately so its actually fun and manageable for groups made up of every combination of classes. such a poor design this place
Kara has been nerfed so hard and so many times. At this point, if you still think it’s “too hard”, then it’s seriously a get good situation. If anything, they nerfed the place too much.
