Came to tears? lol No he was very upfront about it. “Yea I did it. Yea it was a mistake. Oh well we move on”
Oh you just blindly hate like most of the forum. Nevermind.
Which, when Preach made that video, there was hardly anything in Shadowlands that was compelling him to stay. The harassment lawsuits taking place at the time might have been the cherry on top for him and his team to decide to step away from WoW until something could compel them to come back.
Obvious or your assumption
The only people that quit WoW are dead, or marry dominating wives!!
That’s how he makes his living, same with other popular content creators. The moment the masses start screaming and ranting about how bad next expansion is he’ll be right there farming views with their opinions.
That’s why you would be terrible at marketing, this guy leaving represents a lot of former players who left WoW for it’s competition and Blizzard wants to get as many of them to return as possible, what better way than using a streamer who belonged to that target audience to help convince all those other people by making a video and doing interviews.
Hmm, we aren’t friends.
Nobody wants friends anymore anyways. Just acquaintances which is kind of sad.
I’m not investing anything (time or money) into what this guy (Preach) does.
His rent is probably past due, and he wants easy streamer dollars.
I’ll watch the video to see why it’s acceptable that they take so long to fix stuff.
I’ll say this, blizzard could make a good game if they weren’t so tied up with making so much dang money. Of course they can make good decisions. They probably do constantly. The problem is that someone has to butt in and say ‘ok, that’s cool, but how does that tie into revenue genration’
WoW its like people can change LOL. People that hunt past behaviour to discredit current behaviour are so out of season LoL.
I’m sure Apple could make a decent phone if it wasn’t so tied up with impressing investors.
“Pandering to investors, that’s iPhone”
Preach got paid bro ![]()
I completely enjoyed the interview and appreciated the candid responses.
If it helps, I’ll give you the short version. They are consistently working on the next expansion, even before the next one in line releases. They get so deep into the mechanics of the “working” on expansion, there is no time to fix any flawed systems because they have spent a year or more on developing them.
In short, they figure it’s better to release horrible design, than nothing at all.
On the bright side, DF looks like a 360 degree change into the right direction, we hope!
Well so far they have not released a horrible design. I’ve loved every expansion.
I’m just listening to it now because well all these damn threads made me curious and honestly suspected Talent trees were a sorta “return to classic” which is nice like Dragonflight really does feel like it used some of the better parts of classic WoW as inspiration tbh going off beta.
Did you not play shadowlands or something? Did you miss the terrible systems, long patches and all the internal drama at blizz and how they treat there employees. I always find people that are so anti youtuber they just ignore the actual baseline of the issue cringe…
I mean even in his interview blizzard say it was a mistake so you dont even have to take it from me
Did you even watch his new video or are you just hating for the sake of hating lol
I dont care for preach and it was a really good video.
