I routinely send companions off to die. I don’t see the problem. It is the best way to heal if their required xp to next level is lower than the base xp reward. Also a new follower will still get like 8 levels out of it if they’re really low level. Load up all your damaged followers into a mission with high base exp and they come back all shiny and new. I’ve been doing this daily since the beginning so pardon me if I have trouble being sympathetic to this particular whine.
That’s what you get for cheesing trappers since day one.

I recently started using an addon called “Covenant Mission Helper” and my Kyrian character has not lost a match since I started using it. I normally don’t like add ons that remove any sort of creative challenge, but I find the current mission system bad enough to ignore my inclinations. It’s too much like a phone game for my liking, so the less I see of it the better.
Note: it isn’t automated play. I still have to choose the companions, all it does is tell me whether I have a decent chance of winning with that team.
So now we’re Zapp Branigan, lol.

Exactly how hard is it to compare hearts and swords and have any confusion about the outcome?
agree that the adventure tables have a TON of negative feedback loops in the experience, the progression, and time/reward ratios

They are half baked and poorly thought out. Like all the systems in this expansion really.
Blizzard needs to put some fixes in due to the nerfs.

As a veth and kyrian main + primary alt that has been active since week 1 …frick off night fae. I have wasted who knows how much anima and time futilely trying to do missions I am nearly 15 levels over.
Enjoy your suffering and I hope it takes you as long to catch up as it has cost me just trying to do missions I grossly over level. You did not deserve your success and honestly I doubt the buffs are even still enough to even out the playing field
Honestly why Blizz cant just put in logic that says a follower or troop 10+ levels over literally does legacy content damage is beyond me…or make XP missions far more plentiful and quicker to run and FFS stop giving us level 1’s without a way to catch them up fast

Well, I hereby challenge Blizzard to ban me, then. Go on Blizz, I clearly took advantage of an “exploit” and therefore am a very, very naughty person for taking your advice and going to Wowhead to figure out your impenetrable spreadsheet “adventure lol” table!
Go ahead and slap me with a ban and set an example to all those nasty Night Fae players, who were just trying to use the crappest mission table ever implemented in the game.
Honestly, being banned would be a relief at this point. It’s probably the only time in my decade of playing the game that I can honestly say I wouldn’t miss it.

ummmm these missions out pace your companions levels like big time, before you know it. you only have missions that are murder squads for your companions.

Maybe, just maybe, they are waiting for people to start advocating how great WoD was (at least in the aspect of the mission table follower leveling)…
I objectively know it isnt night fae people’s fault they got an easy time whereas 2 covenants have flat out been broken…it is really infuriating though to see their smug little glee acting like we are all just are so bad and look at all the neat little toys and pets and stuff. I have a horde alt also vethnyr and still doubt I’ll learn the table on just from how freaking mad my experiences on my main 2 toons have been. Been 60 3 weeks now and moving onto rank 2 ember court and anima conductor but still no command table
you could stack exp potions in bfa too. the game allowed you to do it. blizz high fived people on twitter who explained how to do that. then they later decided it’s an exploit. those people got ban hammered.

Game doesn’t say that XP missions are suddenly lost. No warning and it’s a dumb system. I understand a roadblock to stop progress, but the mission table not only stops but stunts the progress.
