Just saw this

It would not be unreasonable if they did raise it to 34.95/mo

Adjusting for inflation since 2004 would put the current sub at aprox. $25.

Turk go brrrrrrrr

Let it go up this year
I am paid up sub till 2025

This will be a picnic compared to the monetization that comes after the Microsoft buyout.

If they actually raised the sub price to $20-$25 in NA, I’d probably just start buying playstation/switch games every couple months instead of playing Wow. :man_shrugging:

I sort of doubt they will though.

$20 dollars wouldn’t be a bad price really to pay for a sub
I mean now a days your lucky if you can buy a good mixed drink for $20 bucks now
heck its almost $20 to buy couple McD burgers and fires

You’re not living on the same rock as the rest of us. I consider myself fairly more observant than the next guy. So I watch prices of the stuff I buy. I love cereal for one. Today the place I go to the cereal is a dollar cheaper than it was back in 2019. Not a meme.

So if you think people are going to pay more for less I

If they put out a quality RPG side of the game focused more around casuals and solo activities and world building, even if it wasn’t even on Azeroth
lets say we become another worlds version of Khadgar or Kiljeaden or Velen. I would pay $200 for the expansion. And $30 a month for the sub. Especially if it wasn’t time gated and gambling focused. And gameplay was chill. Less focus on M+ and mythic raid style play. Add in some pvp and I would be in heaven.

This team while having the potential won’t pull it off without a change in leadership and hiring double the devs. And letting them work on it for 3 years outside of the office culture. It won’t happen. And I definitely won’t pre-order.

Wow has gotten itself into a kind of hole where they don’t have the money to turn it around without cutting an entire expansion.

I love the game and don’t mind what we got so bad it’s not really undervalued or anything. It’s still cheap mindful entertainment as upposed to being a private pilot or surfing. And it’s still more accessible. So it’s worth it still. It’s just not in a position to really improve or return to the glory days.

Blizzard called off the price increase for Ukraine, today.

Good move on their part.

I thought it has gone up from the 9.99/month wow originally charged. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

agreed.
Amazed its not a couple bucks more a month by this time, to be honest.

$20 doesnt even buy a pizza here unless its greasy little caesars lol :face_vomiting::nauseated_face:
Less than a pizza to have access for the month. We pay as much ($15) for some of our streaming subs and use those FAR less than we do WoW.

So. Still cheaper than a US subscription, then?

If someone can’t afford a less than a dollar a day per month for entertainment then they have bigger issues to worry about, like finding a job.

i was going to point that out, but left it for someone else :stuck_out_tongue:

by miles, this is still the best “bang for buck” entertainment around.

Yeah, subs would drop like a rock!

Nope nope nope
its always been 14.99 a month for a sub
now if you buy 6 months worth its dollar cheaper per month that is it

Considering most people pay for their sub with Gold the subscription cost is basically $20 right now. Anyone who pays with money is getting a $5 or more discount!

I pay with real money cause of the new 6 and 12 months subs with mounts added
they won’t let me or others pay for those subs with gold
which sucks really
