“Better” is relative. Better to you is not better to the next person. So you have what they and every other game attempts… balance between play styles.

The difference is that at the level of a 22, it isn’t infinite vs static, it’s essentially a form of PvP - you’re pushing harder than the other player, it’s competitive, just like pushing to be #1 in PvP is a competitive drive. At that level, again, we’re talking about worlds level players, you simply have a drive to be better than the other guy at that point. Do you think Limit pushes that hard because of 233 loot? lol.
It’s just so absurd, comparing 22s to bonking M Sire on the head is a such a joke. M Sire is in the domain of “non-competitive” content at this point, you just do it because you enjoy the raid content, it isn’t on the same level of competition.
I don’t think the number of people that care about mythic+ “PvP” against others is really that high.
The number of guilds “racing” Limit isn’t that high either. Day raiding is out of the question but all for a few guilds.
Where the number gets drawn at where mythic+ gets harder is kind of irrelevant now since it’s past where the rewards stop.
Or… just support the three pillars of end-game equally, and allow players three paths to play the game.
The issue with this is only one “pillar” has a lock out keeping you from being able to farm it. I will give you one guess which one that is. The funny part is unless you are a mythic raider, the weekly vault reward for a untimed 10 is probably better than what you will get out of any thing other than mythic CN. Hell I think I am wearing just as much mythic+ vault gear as I am raid gear.

Giving grindable PvE content access to the peak of PvE content trivialized the difference in difficulty that it takes to complete Mythic Raiding. Currently atleast +15s are WAY easier than the raid content for 226 and so it makes sense that the highest achieveable grinded loot is 220, and weekly 1 piece of 226 that will gear you similarly to a Mythic RAider doesn’t trivialize the time and effort Mythic Raiders put in to the game

Mythic plus is only competitive in mdi otherwise it’s just for fun and pass time imo it should stay that way.
OP’s concerns only apply to mythic raiders though…which are what? the 1%? Most, if not everyone I know only raids H, in which case, M+ actually drops better loot for certain slots.

Exactly as it should be, seeing the god-awfulness of affixes and the mind-numbing repetition of dungeons a player is already sick of by the time they’re done leveling.

CN loot is garbage.
The solution isn’t to jerk the other way and make SoD completely imba. All slots are doubled up, the trinkets are insanely good, set bonuses are back in a form, gem bonuses are strong, etc.

everything pvp-related is filled with vers… so unless your class stack vers it’s not BIS by a long shot…
and KSM allow you to get 220 gear easily, with a steady supply of 226 from the chest. some BIS trinket also come from there.
seems to me like M+ gearing is pretty good.

The difference between 220 and 226 is marginal and isn’t game changing. The skill you gain over time is what makes the difference.
whatever special stuff you get in one kind of endgame content should actually be available in all and yes i don’t blame players only blizztard devs. quit trying to force every endgame player into something they just don’t want to lol. your track record ain’t holding up to well ion and all the rest good job we will continue to fail and continue to force players into stuff they just flat hate to be competitive in the one thing they really enjoy.
