With the addition of Zereth Mortis, they put in a direct portal in Orbidos, which is great. My question is, why can’t they just create portals to the shadowland areas as well. Am I the only one sick of the time wasted in those flights between zones?

Hours have been wasted on those flight paths.
If you’re a more hardcore player, how does it feel to know that days of your life have been spent riding between zones because blizzard refused to put in a portal?

what exactly are you going back to your covenant to do anyways…
On tuesday, I accept the 1K anima quest… next monday, I turn in the completed 1k anima quest, log off and wait till Tuesday reset.
If I bother with mission tables, it’s off the Ipad app… no need to be at the Cov for that.
different dungeon areas, wqs, raid, just going to a zone to help out a friend, wpvp.

It has nothing to do with “GIMME GIMME GIMME”. It has everything to do with efficiency in game time. By all means, if you enjoy the wasteful time in flying between zones, keep doing it, but given a choice between the 2, I’ll take quicker transport.

Try flying from Tanaris to Duskwood, then we can talk about wasted time on flights.

Yeah! And make the teleporters in ZM instant. Turning into a glowing suppository and drifting there is kinda lame. They could have at least made it Naj’ speed.

Even old school zeppelin rides were shorter than Shadowland flights from zone to zone. Cut out the flight through Orb and it would be more acceptable.

Same question can be raised on your time investment on this game period, weak analogy. Each covenant is on their own realm of existence. Its suppose to be “immersive” flying in between each zone. You look at it in the wrong mind set. If you want to point, click and collect, maybe a action rpg like Diablo is more up your alley.

I thought if we upgraded the teleportation network in the covenants to max we got portals to and from Oribos.
Clearly I haven’t done it yet, but I could have sworn I read thar somewhere.

I would be happy with somewhere to dump anima in ZM instead of taking the portal, then the flight just to dump 3 stacks of anima every 2 days.
