Just paid $80 to grind for a featured pre-order item?

Thanks for validating my point

How hard is it to accept a quest and just let it do itself in a week? It literally takes no effort and you just have to do your normal playing and it unlocks itself…

and what is that? i dnt agree with you? good.

well it works you JUST PAID…

Not the Point. but thank you for your feedback as soon as blizzard allows me to grind for my purchase i will do so unfortunately have to wait till 2mrw till then, enjoy the show.

You mean do research on something you are looking to buy? Why would anyone think you would do that…

It doesn’t matter when you started, it is your responsibility to research stuff before you buy…

if by timegate you mean something you can finish in one day by just killing mobs at the blood gate…

No what you are saying is you should never have to do something in a game to get something. I mean heck, we give blizz our sub money so we should just automatically get our BiS…

Enjoy the transmog unironically

What grind? It takes like 45 seconds to get your weekly er daily cap or whatever it is. I picked up the quest on an alt and accidentally completed it. It’s probably the absolute quickest path to a full xmog set that has ever existed. It would take about as much time to go on the AH and search for that many pieces and click buy.

Also, given that it very clearly described what you were getting, very explicitly said it’s a quest, clearly and accurately explained… I don’t understand the complaint. You got what you paid for. You paid for (in part) an incredibly easy and quick quest to get xmog. You got it. Stop complaining.

Nah they want to pay for the game and get loot too apparently, even if it says quest. Why should they pay blizz to be able to do something in a virtual world…wait…kinda like they do every month…

Not entirely opposed to a special quest for it, but people should be able to do it on their own time being they payed for it.

Either way I think all the collectibles are quite ugly this time and not worth the money imo.

um…they can?

I suppose they can technically lol, I was thinking more of a quest line rather than item farming.

I mean technically it is one still. There are tons of “go kill these creatures and get xxx stuff” Bear butts or something comes to mind.

I liked the quest line for the Lucid Nightmare. Something like that would be more appropriate.

I would recommend not focusing on grinding the quest. I have completed it accidentally on two characters so far. I get the quest, and then just go about my day doing WQs or whatever, and eventually the quest is finished.

Can you imagine if they did that? People like OP would complain they have to solve a riddle, or move around…

You pre-ordered?

Well that was your first mistake.

Your second mistake was not reading what you were actually pre-ordering for.

I always pre-order. Never know when I’m going to be broke (per usual) or be between enough work or to little. So when I have it, I pre-order.

As for the quest…I got it and completed it. Well not completed it. Still have to turn it in, just been to lazy to look how to do so.

Common knowledge for a complete total WoW-lifer like you. Most people who are casual and buy it don’t research for 3 weeks before the thing even comes out, they just decide, I’m going to click this ad Blizzard put in my Battlenet launcher. Like “Get early access to Allied Races!”, where you click it and buy assuming you would have access to them. It’s not technically wrong, but it’s scummy af.
