YOU’RE the child that cries to their parents whenever someone gets something you can’t have.
“I WANT THAT INSTEAD GIMMMEEEEEEE!!!”
It’s not that we don’t want you to have it, YOU HAVE IT! They’re called VOID ELVES, but your greed and how stubborn you are impedes you from being satisfied until that one toy that kid has gets either
A. Taken away or
B. You get something better.
So no.
Enjoy your Void Elves baby.

Not from a practical / gameplay standpoint, but I would love to see a remade-Quel’thalas from the air.

No. /10chars

I suppose I could get behind that.

Yeah, I really want to have my racial identity removed so alliance can play yet another race of pretty elves.

Red Shirt guy says hi…

LOL, the very definition of Hyperbole. Interesting that you would say the Horde would be pissed if they gave the Alliance something.

SInce that “something” is a carbon copy of Blood Elves with one slight color change, yeah I think people would be mad.

Why would they be pissed? That is the question. And also, pro High Elf folks have no problem with getting a new model so it doesn’t just have to be the eye color as you are trying to assert.

In addition, no need to be pissed since it takes nothing away from the Horde, you don’t see the Alliance having a cow that Night Elves now play on the Horde?

No it’s just I’ve argued with you on this before and you refuse to ever see the other side of the argument. You don’t think seeing my favorite race turned over to the Alliance in its entirety would be upsetting. “Give them a different model” They don’t HAVE a different model. They are Thallassian Elves like the Sin’dorei.

High Elves are from Quel’thalas. High Elves draw energy from the Sunwell. High Elves were ruled by the Sunstriders. High Elves are Blood Elves with a different political view and like 5 in-game years of different experiences than the main Blood Elf population.

The lore enthusiasts have said no. Blizzard has said no. Everybody said no and even gave Void elves as a compromise.

But the “I WANT I WANT!” crowd will never stop.

Oh i see it, i just shoot holes in it with the reality of what is.

Oh the irony. The reality is, IF Blizzard did open High Elves as is to the Alliance (notice i didn’t say give them since High Elves are now and ALWAYS HAVE BEEN on the Alliance side) with no model changes and only the same options for the race, that wouldn’t change you being a Blood Elf in any way shape or form. NOR would it change any of the entire rest of the Blood Elves in existence, they would still be free to play Horde and stay Horde, anything else is in your mind.

And none of that has any meaning, they exist and are all over the world, in fact that you mention all of this means they could have interesting story implications if done right by Blizzard.

You are right, because Alleria (still using the High Elf model) and Vareesa and her leadership of the faction of the Silver Covenant along with ALL the NPC’s already in and around the Alliance and Stormwind and out in the world are worth never stopping for.

Alliance High Elves in the past, Alliance High Elves in the present and Alliance High Elves FOREVER!

Imagine a group of Orcs deciding to go Vegan and leave Orgrimmar.

That is basically what happened with the High Elf / Blood Elf split. Canonically, there are very few High Elves left in the Alliance. The military still has a few small groups, which is why the pop up, and Dalaran has some as well, but they are a broken, scattered people with no cohesion and are mixing in with Humans for the most part.

But none of that matters because you want it.

Not quite the right analogy, more like imagine a group of Night Elves leaving the the Night Elf nation to be Horde. They are a small group of individuals living in a cave, some call Suramar home, some call this cave a home, some call Org. home. But they are a broken, scattered people with no cohesion and are mixing with Blood elves for the most part.

Oh wait, you don’t have to imagine that, it already exists in the form of Nightborne.

I would point out that there are more High Elves in lore and in just NPC’s then there are in all of existence of not just the Void Elves but the Light Forged Draenie…COMBINED. The numbers went away when they pulled out “crack squad’s” (ion’s words not mine) as races.

The Horde is allowed to have cool and popular things all to themselves, you know.

That’s going to have to be a big negatory there partner. I support your right to discuss things you want in-game but I take issue with the splintering of blood elves. Customization options for VElfs, even Silver Covenant elves, but not splitting BElfs (an existing race) into factions unless you’re talking about removing faction barriers for grouping.
