Reminds me when I was invited to play test the first big Morrowind patch.
God that turned into a flipping joke.
I was only invited because I was white knighting the game on their forums.
Once in the testing it became apparent they werent fixing the biggest problem the game had…lag and low FPS…pitiful performance and for whatever reason high end machines seemed to be affected, in some cases, worse than low end.
I asked about why it wasnt being fixed and they basically told me to shut up and ignore it.
yeah…ok…WHY are we play testing if you arent listening to our input?
Well, my questions got me booted from the playtesting (though eventually it came out that because they had gone with a 3rd party engine, they werent legally allowed to tamper with it, at least that the story as I heard it later on)
They knew the game had problems they COULDNT fix when they sold it, lol.
