Sure, but I agree with others that the harsh 30 minute punishment should be adjusted or removed entirely. Getting thicker skin and moving on is one thing. Not being able to play is another.
This has been mentioned a number of times. Every kick is recorded in a db and they keep a running total. As far as how they decide what constitutes abuse of the function isnât something they ever elaborate on.
The debuff does suck, but sadly I donât think Blizz would be able to filter out. The debuff is used to punish players who abandon, or cause issues in dungeons. Sort of like a time out.
You just gotta shrug, go find something to do for 30 minutes and try again. Being an adult is hard for some people I know but weâre all capable.
Sure, but the same can be achieved with systems that adopt escalation methods. League of Legends, as Iâve mentioned before, gives you a punishment that worsens over time. The initial punishment serves as a time out, but gets worse for those who continue to act on that negative behavior. That makes perfect, logical sense to me. Itâs better designed to punish those who are really deserving of it.
30 minutes may be justifiable in some cases, but to have the same harsh punishment for all? EhâŚ
And I bet there are innocent ones who get caught in the crossfire.
What is good for the goose isnât always good for the gander. 30 minutes is kind. Itâs not hard to kill 30 minutes. Iâve scrolled on Tiktok longer than 30 minutes before.
Unjust kicks do happen every now and then, but based on personal experience, thereâs usually a reason. We just might not know what that reason is. Usually, itâs obvious enough though. Iâm not saying that youâre lying, but I am saying we donât have the full story. That makes me skeptical by default, which is not personal in any way.
I think thatâs fair. For the most part, I hold that same opinion and I donât blame you for being skeptical. I donât take that personally. Getting labeled out of bias is what frustrates me, not skepticism.
You can still be skeptical and give someone else the benefit of the doubt, as well as provide constructive feedback.
keep an eye on their joke commentsâŚsooner or later theyâll end up admitting that THEY kick for no good reasonâŚwhile insisting YOU are lying and arent telling the whole story lmao
Theyâll literally rat themselves out as being the bogus kickers if you keep them railing on long enough
ExactlyâŚand as long as blizzard takes the âits ok to abuse other players because the TOOL cant be abusedâ crapâŚitâll keep going on unpunished
Sometimes things just happen. Seems like you got trolled. But not to worry, the âworking as intended / nothing to see or fix hereâ crowd should be along soon if they are not already here.
