You just marked a huge problem with the game and community. If you aren’t hitting it the first second expect to get spit on for not knowing 100% of everything. You are the people that need to be removed from the game.
Mythics are about using your full kit.
Sure you can mindlessly damage but that’s not as effective. They become "Easier "when you start Working interrupts/cc into your rotations and even more so when the whole group does
A 6 is kinda ez tbh
Honestly, that first boss is just horrible even on m0. The 2nd boss in Sanguine Depths is pretty annoying too, I still have no idea how to do that fight.
Its just the big golem guys that pulse AoE. Don’t think there’s anything else notable for group-wide AoE damage there. For Trash, at least.
The tank slam or the fear circle?
Pull Boss back like 15 yards to provide breathing room for the hallway lasers. Watch for them, move to the side of the hall the one coming at you isn’t on, then move to the side it WAS on after it passes so you don’t get hit by Laser #2. I THINK they alternate which one comes first so you can pre-prepare as well.
Castigation: Get out of the Group if you’re targeted. If you have an Immunity/Defensive, it’s a good time to pop it. Feign Death, Vanish, Shadowmeld will all drop the effect immediately as well. Probably Cloak of Shadows?
Other than that, you just nuke the add because the longer its alive the more AoE damage it does, and punch the boss. Add drops goop when it dies so you just move down the hall a bit each time you kill one.
I always felt that Halls of Atonement was one of the easier dungeons, especially compared to the other Venthyr dungeon, Sanguine Depths.
OMG really? I never even thought to try that. ![]()
Halls is a pretty easy dungeon but just like with anything else, you may struggle at first if you don’t know the mechanics yet.
Imagine how many ways there are to die out of nowhere in PVP if you don’t know any of the mechanics that other classes use - keystones are like that except things are telegraphed much more once you know what to look out for
Ah the narrow mind of those who only focus on the absolute present and can’t see into the future. So sad.
Sooo mysterious.
Lol gmafb ![]()
Unless your selling your account for real money and want to say it has ports who cares down the line.
Porting back to dungeons in later xpacs for mog? Rofl
Regardless Id rather play the game i pay for then afk in a dungeon. But you do you lol
I just came back from almost a 2 year hiatus. I was 240 ilevel when i joined my now guild who carried me through some 10s and 16. When i dinged 60 i went straight to zereth mortis to get some 233 gear and 229 ilevel weapon
As a fire mage it was brutal but i slowly got the gear and went into torghast and got my 291 legendary then i finished ZM and got my 265 unity belt.
After that i started dabbling into sepulcher normal hoping for some tier gear. Wasnt until i started doing mythic pluses that i started to get geared and the vault gave me my legs and then my chest.
You can check my armory of where i started and where i am now. In just 3 weeks i feel i came along way.
You’ll get there in time, OP.
These days it is pretty mandatory to have every mob ability memorized so you know what to interrupt and all that. Particularly with a group that doesn’t overgear the content.
Gl out there. M+ can be pretty fun once you get used to the initial hectic nature of it.
Ugg, this is weak talk and utterly disgusting.
I can’t imagine playing a game, particularly an MMO style game such as this, only to pay other people to play for you.
Good for you. You have someone to carry you. It’s really easy if there’s a help.
But OP’s story is different. But he should be okay too if he just stick with his Tank friend.
On me, I find Season 3 the easiest to gear of all WoW patches. I left Season 2 early and came back one week after Season 3 started at ilevel 245. I got overwhelmed at first but not that much becoz I played thru the start of Shadowlands until I got bored somewhere on Season 2.
I started with zero Mythic rating on Season 3 and rio score was bugged on the first week when it didnt show my previous M score. I cant even get invited to M+4s. And I have no one to help me as I have no friends as I am more of a Solo player but levels up thru dungeon finder all with PuGs. So I started Season 3 at the very bottom… M+2’s becoz nobody invites me at M+4 at ilevel 245. It was fine since I have to relearn how to play my specs/Class/Covenant and WoW. I climbed up week after week. I got 12 consecutive weeks of all upgrades on Vault. I started with Zero M rating started at M+2’s, now at 2390 M rating doing some M+16’s. I messed up with Tazavesh as I totally skipped it last Season becoz it was buggy. I am Casual with less play time. I dont have time to deal with Bugs. Now, I felt I am penalized for skipping those Tazavesh dungeons. Anyway, I still have plenty of time to put up my Tazavesh scores as I believe it is easier to do Tazavesh +15s than do other dungeons like DoS and ToP at M+18s and up. I just have to come up with strategies to pump up my DPS and learn when to pull my Lust on Tazavesh. But I dont think learning Tazavesh is brutal. I just need to familiarize it more so I could carry my PuG keys more efficiently. We will see how my PuGs run would work on incoming weeks. Hope the affixes are as super-easy like this week.
just out dps it seriously. if you’re not hitting at least 10k overall you are slacking.
Same, which is why I enjoy using the Auction House and professions.
Are you joking or not? They were an ilvl 213 healer ![]()
I can, but I certainly can’t imagine boasting about it from some kind of a high horse. But it does make for great entertainment.
