Yeah after seeing that there’s no emissaries for gear and gearing up my main and alts will be 100 times more stressful and annoying coupled with the drop rate in dungeons being lowered. Yeah I’m most likely going to be looking for another game in the mean time. So far shadowlands has been underwhelming just another grind fest but worse then bfa. Bfa we had neck, essences, cape levels. Now we have soul ash(which only drops in torghast in very little amounts compared to the amount you need) covenant levels, conduits, legendary patterns. And now with decent gear only coming from raids and mythic plus and not how it used to from emissaries. So people are basically being punished for having alts. Yeah I see only one outcome if nothing changes. A massive decline in player base due to burnout or just being plain disgusted with the system. Time will tell.

Pretty sure I could solo mythic blackrock foundry in later legion on a monk.
That’s 1 expansion after. Typically there has been a legacy buff that for raids from 2 expansions previous that you could run through and 1 shot everything. That buff is currently still a little wonky, I can clear the LFR version of antorus on a 50 mage faster than my 60 mage.

You don’t need raid gear for alts that aren’t raiding. You’ll be able to eventually solo whatever you want from doing heroic dungeons or honor gear as patches go by. If you can’t even bother to do that you’re not really playing your alts so you have even less reason to demand raid gear.

Early on? Not unless you were of a certain handful of classes that are notoriously god tier at soloing content. Later on a few more classes could do it but it was a struggle.
Note, I am talking specifically about Mythic only. Normal and Heroic have always been easy to solo and are what you can solo now from Legion. My rogue isn’t even that geared and the only boss on Mythic Nighthold to give me trouble was the botanist.

One thing I noticed is the Demoralized debuff is not being applied to Legion raid enemies and bosses. If you go back through older stuff from WoD and Pandaria, enemies have a debuff after x number of levels difference that delivers 50% reduced health and 40% reduced damage. Supposidly there’s also a hidden buff to players that increases their damage. It doesn’t look like either of these are being applied to Legion raids.
That said I was able to solo Heroic Emerald Nightmare and Nighthold on my i147 Shadowpriest at 60 fairly easily. Bosses tended to melt quick and barely did any damage. However, the first boss of ToS on Normal was a struggle. If the debuff/buff was applied like it is supposed to, this would probably be a lot more doable.

I personally wouldn’t unsub for that same reason, but, it is your own reason and that is just fine.
After Shadowlands, I will be dropping the game entirely. I am seeing recycled systems, assets and so on, and it does not make me happy considering that they are happy taking peoples’ money, but they dont want to put the work in to create something thats actually new. They just keep shoveling the same crap Xpac after Xpac. They just toss a new coat of paint on that beat up pinto and send it out on the road again without actually fixing it.

Legacy content is just that and should be steamrolled through. Hopefully they fix it sooner rather than later.

There were what, 6 million by the end of it. I started Dec 2006 and been subbed since. There’s tons of people still around from even earlier.
I’m not demanding anything. I’m saying that I would like decent gear for my many alts so they don’t spend 90 percent of the time dead just doing world content. You can dislike it all you want. Its not up to you what I do with my toons. Same as its not up too me what you so with yours
