In high tiers it’s as close as m+ you have except that the reward is limited by keys on top of RNG.
Again… if people is doing 8s right now there’s very little reason to do m0s right now unless you run out of keys or you’re saved on normal or you just dont want to do m0s or raiding at all…

No it wasn’t, it has always been advertised as content that can be done solo or up to a group of 5. And the content very much can be done solo, and even the mount is locked behind doing it solo.

Yes, because the sheer nature of how the game works having more people will make it easier but so long as its doable solo that really doesn’t matter other than you being upset knowing that other people are going through the same content you are faster
I just copied and pasted the definition when I looked it up, if you have a problem with that let google know. There are quite a few definitions when looking What is MMO but they all say basically the same thing…lots of people playing the same game. No where does it say anything about being grouped. I’m not trying to argue and will not, just saying what the definition is.
And a quick look at your post history shows that you weren’t one of the people demanding “challenging solo content”.
The people who want it, just do it. The people who demand it don’t actually want to do it.

I stopped doing guilds, dungeons and raids when the drama and speed runs increased. It is still a fun game for me as a casual player.
I only run them with my wife and/or a friend when I’m not running them solo.
If it’s easier to do with a bigger group, cool. Just don’t take away my ability to do it in a smaller one, please.
I solo and carry myself thanks. I have done plenty of group stuff since Vanilla and it’s players who claim they “carry” others that have made me play largely solo. Leave people alone to play alone if that is what they want.

But there’s plenty to do with others outside of instanced combat. World quests, rares, trading, the auction house, outdoor content they have every 30 mins or whatever it’s called, roleplay, guilds.
The multiplayer part isn’t only dungeons and raids. There’s so much more to grouping in MMOs, especially this one.

exactly, the solo players that were promised a solo prpgression enddgame content will just quit delves entirely because they became mythic plus dungeons and once everyone is running them as a grouo they will be balanced around a group. This is whats gonna happen to delves if soloing the advertized solo content is significantly harder than just going in a group.
I love them. Not as stressful as M+

The issue is you. You are angry that you’re not steamrolling content way above your head.
I’ve either done delves in groups of 5 (when pugging) or 3 (when da bois are online). Before this weekend was a swell time.
Think the delve size thing is working out pretty well…at least until this weekend when they kept releasing untested hotfixes every day.
Dungeon 2.0 sounds great since a lot of players repeatedly asked for a casual dungeon experience that’s not pull everything and rush-rush-rush.
It is pointless to keep creating more content for the same group of people - you only pay ‘x’ per month not anymore than others who get little to no content directed at them.
A lot of people do delves in groups because they basically have to. They either lack gear or skill or the right class/spec (let’s be honest), or maybe they lack a combo of things.
As a VDH, I can solo T8s very comfortably. I can’t imagine doing that with my SPriest or MMHunter.
