Gave healing a try this season and went 9-0, lost 1 match and my mmr dropped off a cliff.
now i’m being paired with people I have to carry and it’s not going well.
How are so many people queing blitz in honor gear. I mean almost every single teammate is under geared with no concern for how that will impact the others unfortunate enough to be placed with them.
That becomes a problem when the enemie team realizes who is wearing Honor gear and decides to focus them, and that player doesn’t know how to use defensive cooldowns or stay alive properly. I got my Warrior to a 1.9 rating the day before yesterday—playing against 2.3-rated opponents—while wearing only Honor gear. Because of the MMR system, you’re bound to run into players in full 344 PvP gear who might not actually know how to play; otherwise, queue times would be an hour long.
Chain wins/chain losses most dramatically affect your MMR blanket. Naturally you’re going to continually be paired with worse players as your MMR drops, and Rsham is pretty mid in BGs, so you automatically have a disadvantage in every FC map you get.
Agree here, but don’t know what to do about it. I guess Blizzard could require a PVP-ilvl limit to queue that moves as the season goes on, but I’d personally suggest they just give everyone a static-ilvl for queued content.
I wish they’d get rid of the duo Que system in blitz and it would be super awesome!! And you are right! I’m about to hop on my Druid and start grinding for conquest gear….guess where? Blitz
At a certain point, honor gear stopped being competitive with conquest gear. I don’t know if it happened in TWW or Midnight but honor gear used to be good enough to go to battle against geared people.
They should just bring back the Legion system but with selective secondary stats.
If youre looking at this toon then you are blind and the ignore feature is welcomed by me too.
I dont run this one, I did a few times but to see if SPriest was decent. Not a main at all. Im very geared on the 3-4 that I run daily but you do you boo. Buh bye.
The issue is that there is very little incentive to stop and play reg BGs, even less so for Training Grounds (which is IMO Ion’s Cybertruck: invented by the mind of a 5 year old for the sake of 60 year olds wanting to be 25 year olds)
Make Reg BGs a required stop along the way - rewards, item level, played 50 regs per toon before Qing BGBs - I don’t really care which because I know Blizz isn’t reading any of this and we are all screaming into the void (and throwing our 16$/mo in there too!)
But hey people [edit - assumed, you know]… how are your feelings feeling today?
And how you gonna make players tune stats in PvP?
What if one lock need mastery for the build and other haste?
Stat templates? We had that in legion and it sucked hard.
Gear is not an issue, morons that go to the Blitz or SS in quest gear is a problem.
I got to 2100 this season with a good partner I’ve played with in and off over the years. Without him I doubt I would have got there/ not cuz he carried me but we just know how each other play. I think 2100 is hard solo right now but inflation is happening I think. Having a partner duo over a solo Que is basically cheating. Or the advantage is so large it skirts the boundaries of fairness
