I was just wrapping up my night on Wyrmrest Accord Server, when I was disconnected from the game. Upon trying to log in, I received a message that the Login servers were full. Since there was only a small wait, I decided to see if it would reconnect. It immediately DCed me again with the error message: BLZ51901016 (Just tested it a second time to be sure it wasn’t a fluke).

I’m not sure if it’s a DDOS or just a case of Frontier being crappy, but I figured I’d pass it on in the event it was so Blizzard could resolve it before the morning rush of logins. Hope this info is helpful.

Could just be a problem with the authentication server for any number of reasons, DDOS attacks happen when the attacker wants to disrupt a high number of people for impact, a Thursday morning isnt it.

Of course it’s happening, there’s just no reason to go straight to DDOS. So many other possibilities.

Got the login queue deal then got disconnected upon logging in and then disconnected a few times more times trying to log in again.

I’m not great at time zones but could it be this?

Stress test is still supposed to be open but should have been busiest yesterday.

The behavior is the same as I got when I first tried to log in to the previous stress test, so some very silly thoughts have crossed my mind, like: maybe someone switched the cables between the regular servers and the beta ones! :smile: I don’t think that’s actually how it works though.

Glad I’m not the only one. Was freaking out thinking my account was hacked or something.
Same issue and error code. Basically:
I was in Boralus, logged out, was tabbed out of WoW, then when I came back it had DCd. Tried to log in, but wouldn’t even get to the “retrieving realm list” or anything like that. It just almost immediately goes to the Error message.
