If only you were cool like me and didn’t care about either! That’s peak cool.
I’ve been happy with the transmog drops. But no way am I going to farm these for the mounts. If they drop then great. It’s so difficult for me to run the same instance over and over anymore. I’m thrilled I lucked out and got the Time-lost Proto drake and the Onyxia drake. I’m really happy with them. I might have some other drops from raids or dungeons but don’t remember for sure what they are.
editing…I reread that and want to clarify I got those 2 mounts years ago, not this month. (although I dont’ believe the Time-lost drake is included in their increase)
The transmog is so awesome. I did a run of mythic sepulcher on my paladin last night. Got the complete set for my pally, the complete set for my hunter, and more than half of each of the other sets.
No mount though ![]()
Tell me about it. The couple times I’ve thought about testing my luck on any of it, a sense of “yuck” washes over me.
yeah, same, i had to look for mogs i wanted to get and got them all the second day. so now i am looking for other things to maybe try to get.
Why was this topic flagged? Do some of you so dislike a dissenting voice that you have to report it? Using which one of the frankly badly worded and selected criteria?
Do I agree with the OP? Not necessarily, because its still a matter of luck, whether that luck extends for a single fight or many. When you kill the boss you have two possible results - either you get it or you don’t. That’s luck, whatever the odds. I have done my grind in the past on mount I really wanted and some of them I got. Do I feel somehow special? Mostly I just feel happy I don’t need to do it again. And if someone else gets it sooner than I did, does that make me unhappy? Frankly, Scarlett, I don’t give a damn. I have it, that’s the happy part for me.
But I do get a bit weary of the flagging just because you disagree or don’t like the topic. Don’t like it, don’t read it. And if you disagree and want to respond, then offer your alternate opinion.
Is there a way to see how many times your account killed a boss? Would reslly appreciate some help on this one.
If you want rare, focus on mounts that are earned rather than RNG.
Casuals aren’t going to have rajani’s trashpile or soaring Spelltome.
Or season M+ mounts. Those go away and are no longer available after their season so they have a rarity to them too
Possibly in the statistics tab but otherwise I think you’d need an addon tracker or something
Bingo. They got achievement dates for this reason but that’s not good enough. It’s all about denying people a chance to get stuff.
Not enough fawning admiration over achievement dates.
That’s right. I want to lord my stuff over all you who don’t have it. Look at me with envy! Look at my cool stuff now!! Feel the jealousy flow through you!

Bruh, these are pixels in a video game, relax.
When someone doesn’t realize what he does in wow doesn’t matter for anything.
I’m honestly not reading all this, just wanted to throw in that I’ve spent years farming mounts to the point where I stayed subbed during SL and only farmed old content. Point is… I’m happy as a clam with a buffed increase. I’d farmed every raid mount from classic-wrath since Dragon Soul would never give me a single mount.
And you know what? I finally got one of the DS mounts. It’s not the one I wanted but now I’m 1/3 and feeling like the success kid meme. They do exist!
I’m also happy everyone else can get what I’ve spent years working on in hopefully a month.
You kinda played yourself, thinking Blizzard would respect you as a player.
They only care about making money and if that means making it easier to farm mounts, they’ll do it.
