Eh, the appeal of cosmetics is subjective, but the trading post does tend to lean towards stuff that’s themed around either a holiday or a race, or is more fanservice-y (like the Love Witch stuff).
That said, I think you’re correct in that the stuff it seems you’re looking for is generally obtained through gameplay instead of the trading post, possibly because those appearances kinda represent the game taking itself seriously and the TP isn’t really about that with its marquee items.

This is why I need to stop watching videos by creators showing all the datamined Trading Post items, showcasing all the stuff that probably won’t be on the TP for 8 months.
Was really hoping to see the new Outlaw/Cowboy sets this month, another month of being disappointed.

I was hoping for a goblin theme ensemble. We got a few pieces but whatever. The mount we buy and the monthly reward are the same rocket but recolored. The new weapons while unique and goblin themed just aren’t my taste.
I’ll buy the pets though
