Honestly, to see just how absolutely unhinged people like you become over the meer suggestion that something be in its original state in a 20 year old video game is entertainment for me.
Outside of just borderline harassment and dropping ad-hominims for no reason, there isn’t rally a conversation to be had here and I see no reason to bother getting in a back and fourth with you that gets neither of us anywhere?
I could take or leave a price change for mounts. I don’t think it takes very long to get ahold of 100 gold, especially since we’re gonna be parked at 40 for a while. But at the same time, this is Season of Dads, and some people actually have a hard time figuring out how to farm gold. I actually saw a post on here the other day claiming that anyone with over 100 gold was guaranteed to have bought it, that’s how out of touch some players are.
Honestly I’m completely fine with it, I just figured considering we’ll have all had 2 months at this level cap and gold is significantly easier to get and how saturated the market has quickly become from a multitude of reasons, that the 100g default price really isn’t bad, and if 5k players suddenly drop 100g each, that’s a huge amount of gold taken out of the economy immediatley.
I’d say it’s more appropriate for late comers down the road or alts, but either way it’s whatever. I guess my perspective is more short-term.
Man, was it nice replying to the only level headed response here. Thank you
*really (and that isn’t even a necessary word to be used in conjunction).
*going
The reason that we don’t get anywhere is that you are incapable you dissecting your own thoughts and seeing both sides of it. You are incapable of seeing any side but your own because you lack critical thinking and are not an open mind.
Not a surprise an solidifies everything that was in that post.
No, there is a conversation between one person (me) that looks at your point of view. Then there is the conversation of a person (you) that only sees things as how you want them to be, regardless of viable rebuttals).
If you think having a logical reply to your absurd request is “fuming”, then I pity your coworkers. They must be miserable when they are in your company. I hope you don’t work in health care or any other job of life sustaining consequence.
Not going to lie, I let out an audible laugh. And it’s bonkers to me that people get this unhinged over a video game.
Anyways, I’ll throw you a bone here for a second. You never actually offered a counter argument or ever intended to have any civil discussion at all to begin with. You rushed out of the flood gates immediately just insulting me, so I can’t give myself any good reason as to why I would WANT to engage with you properly when you were never proper to begin with?
You just spent 30 minutes of your life insulting someone over the internet that just made a suggestion to use the default prices for mounts in a 20 year old video game.
Not only did you start the conversation in this way, but you also continued to come at me with some weird idea that you have some sort of ideological high-ground while engaging in this odd behavior because you were capable of pointing out a few typos?
Not to mention, I was never rude to you prior or during this reponse, but just passive because you never gave any inclination you wanted to actually have an A to B formal conversation about anything, other than trying to look smart.
Again, I just can’t fathom why or how someone can get this upset over what is essentially nothing?
Whatever it is you’re going through these days, best of luck. I am off to bed.
Oh, but I have. You simply choose to ignore that fact that the way it is works perfect fine.
You can’t be “civil” with someone that is close minded and lacks intellectual aptitude or ability.
Because you lack the fundamental abilities to provide anything other than what you want.
No, I spent very little of my time making a clearly feeble attempt to show someone how absolutely stupid and absurd their suggestion is (while they simply ignore every single analogy) . The time I spent is only within typing and a brief moment of thought.
(sigh). No, I tried to show you how ignorant your stance is. You refuse to budge or acknowledge my points. You dodged, evaded, and ignored every single one of them. It was never about the “typos”. That was just a bonus to prove to my self that my assessment and evaluation of your abilities was indeed correct.
That is correct. *response
I gave you examples of why your argument is entirely stupid and flawed. You chose to ignore them.
I do not care about what inconsequential people on the internet perceive my appearance to be.
You make the mistake of thinking my emotions come into play. Of course on some level they do, but not as you believe they do.
Back in the first season (Season of Mastery) we had not only accelerated leveling but increased coin/gold rewards as well. Yet I still saw numerous players walking post-40.
It’s hard to get where you want to be if you have trouble budgeting the time you want to play a game. I gave a lot of gifts in SoM to people that were short on cash but wanted to ride (I had most of them gather for me and paid an “inflated” price). Even with the time we are level capped there are going to be players that cannot purchase the training/mount when they ding 40 and quite possibly will be some time before they can. I don’t believe they just shouldn’t play but they might want to be more realistic about the time they have available and the effort they need to expend.
Reduced costs are fine. Being jealous or resentful towards players that have more time/better time management skills is silly. Blizzard probably lowered the cost because seasonal with the leveling gating is pretty darn casual. Give everyone a chance.
