If you don’t see the realms listed go to account[dot]battle[dot]net/games and create a new PTR account and use that one when you login. Fixed it for me.

Hello! Yes, if you aren’t seeing the PTR realms you may need to create a PTR game account. You can do so by following these steps:

With regards to guild neighborhoods, we just pushed a change to the PTR that should make this easier for testing. With only two guild members online, the Guild Master should be able to create a guild neighborhood by speaking to the Steward NPC in Stormwind/Orgrimmar.

This is great, but we can’t move houses so those of us who started playing around with housing testing via a public neighbourhood now can’t also test their houses in their guild neighbourhoods.

And I hearthed to my Horde house, so now I can’t even access my Alliance house because when I go through the portal in the SW portal room it takes me to my guild neighbourhood and the hearth is on CD lol.

I’m stuck in tutorial mode. Made a new character, it’s in tutorial mode.

Cannot do anything other than place decorations. Cannot dye, resize, or change the exterior of the house

Can you change the restrictions for guild charter signatures in general now? You HAVE to be in the same exact neighborhood, just being in Founder’s Point won’t work because it appears you are on different layers in neighborhoods, and then you can’t invite people from other servers that aren’t linked to your original server (but we cloned them all over to the PTR server, so we’re the SAME server now and yet that limitation exists still).

It would be great if we can move. I couldn’t get to housing interface until after tutorial which required buying a house now I can’t move into my guild neighborhood

I can’t move my house :downcast_face_with_sweat:

So….neighborhood managers in a guild neighborhood basically don’t do anything? Aside from making selections for endeavors I guess which are NYI. I thought there’d be at least some options for stuff, but it seems the neighborhood is 99.999% system-managed.

It’s bugged atm

This reads as though the requirement on live servers will be to have ten players in the guild online in order to initially create the guild neighborhood. Is that accurate? Meaning if a guild couldn’t field these members online right when the servers come up on launch day, then no one who is online would be able to start their homes lest they be forced to pay the fee to move their house to the guild ‘hood once it’s available.

These requirements are very unclear (IMO) and I don’t see them documented anywhere. Is it possible to get more details on this? For example, do all 10 members also have to own Midnight (and thus have housing early access) for them to count towards the requisite 10 to found the guild neighborhood?

Guild housing error I got:

I joined a guild after I had already picked a plot. I couldn’t move because it’s disabled, no harm or foul there. However, it always throws me into the guild neighborhood now and not my own personal plot neighborhood (public). I think when you portal to a neighborhood, it should prioritize your neighborhood and not the guild neighborhood as the place you go.

This is my impression as well. There is nothing the GM can do to manage the guild neighborhood from what it seems like. I went up to the bulletin board and imagine there should be a way to assign plots and edit things on there since it states the roster of folks in the guild neighborhood and a few details… but it’s very buggy.

I’m really hoping Blizzard can implement some parameters around this and ensure the GM is able to manage the guild neighborhoods. GM should be able to assign officers to help manage everything as well. Right now, it’s just a “private” neighborhood where you can’t do literally anything to manage in any capacity. Bummer, as this is the one thing I was trying to explore with the PTR.

There was a new assignable permission to guild ranks relating to the neighborhood so I’m hopeful there will be things coming down the pipeline for knobs to turn. Right now I’m assuming the literal only thing that permission does is dictate who can create the neighborhood, and at that point why bother, just limit it to the GM. But I don’t understand why they’d have us test it without one of the main things people were looking to test?

Housing is far worse now than it was on the last PTR, I seriously doubt that anyone that was testing housing was like “Hey, I know, lets limit how many rooms we can do!”

Feedback: Adjust the limiters on the room sizes, Stairwells taking up 7 rooms all but eliminates a 2nd floor until far later in the housing levels, people want to plan their houses out, but with this system, we are being forced to decide months in advance what rooms we will want to add in the future, and per level, it just feels awful.

The last PTR trained us to maximize value by using the largest rooms possible, but taking away larger home designs so that smaller and more intricate ones feel less wasteful is a horrible exchange.

Thanks for letting us test it out again! I don’t wanna have two different guilds again, so I hope there is a fix to this thing with Alliance and Horde and their neighborhoods. Looks like you cannot be in the same guild and be in your faction’s neighborhood. My Alliance toons do not want to be in a Horde neighborhood, and vice versa. I have my own guild and I can make a guild neighborhood when the guild neighborhoods go live. Which I heard won’t happen until the expansion actually comes out, not in the housing early access on December 2nd. I tested out the guild neighborhood successfully today only on the Horde side though. I guess we’ll see if anything changes in the Beta in regard to the Alliance and Horde in same guild neighborhood situation.
