Hey guys, today I would like to share something that happened to me with a specific guild on the Stormrage server - Alliance side, named “Ruthless Renegades”.
First, I am not encouraging any hate speech or any form of malice against them. This is only a warning message because what happened might save you a lot of time and drama if you wan plan to join them.
So, about myself: I’m a player from the EU who recently moved to Canada. Unfortunately, you can’t transfer your entire account to NA.
Basically, I had to create a new character and restart from scratch. I won’t lie, I was super hyped about this kind of PvP project for battlegrounds.
I’ve done a very similar project on the EU Horde side, but unfortunately, it didn’t last due to people losing interest in this kind of content.
I will surely disappoint some of you, but to me, epic battlegrounds or any PvP content is more enjoyable with teammates, such as groups or premades (by the way, I’m not a fan of arenas).
With lots of optimism, I contacted a player named “Deacon” because of their community ad. I explained to him that I was interested, and he seemed really nice, saying, “Come to our community, I’ll send an invite.” I bought TWW and boosted my Prot Paladin to start farming gear and everything for PvP.
“Deacon” invited me to their community and just told me, “Ok, hurry up to get to level 80, and everything will be fine.”
After a few hours offline, I noticed I had been removed from the community. I contacted one of the leaders on Discord, a guy named “Kady”.
The community has around 900 members, many of whom seem inactive for months (I guess, because 900 is a lot).
To me, being removed from a 900+ member community the first day was already a red flag.
Now, here’s how they “welcome” people. Be prepared; the whole story is hilarious. They are super aggressive and not friendly at all.

btw did you other account get perma banned or something? You said you were in guild before…but the account you’re on is brand new with a level boosted character that appears to be a day old. So it couldn’t have possibly been in our guild ever before. It doesn’t even have the achievement for joining a guild.

- That was also before RR even existed…so its literally not possible to have been with us at that time, not even with other characters as your global achievements show you stopped playing in mid February 2023. At that time Deacon was in GG not RR, as RR didn’t exist yet. So none of that is adding up at all. *

After this super weird and negative message, I didn’t even have time to reply. “Deacon” kicked me out of the Discord server.
Telling me I was lying and upset about the situation. Imagine that. In their rules, they mention being drama-free, but I can tell you these people are drama queens who thrive on this kind of thing.
I don’t need to explain how aggressive and unfriendly this whole conversation was. I literally bought the expansion to play with you guys in battlegrounds, and what you’re doing is kicking me and calling me a liar without giving me the chance to talk on voice chat or explain where I supposedly lied.
If anyone want a serious PvP player, drama free, non toxic. I would be glad to play with you !
If a group takes that much time researching individuals to join their community, especially looking at BG history for a wpvp community (LOL, imagine) it’s a massive red flag.
You aren’t missing much, they run from their own group pretty consistently it’s so easy to pick them off one at a time, Deac is very familiar with my flag of ownership from about 4 of my horde alts.

I think those 2 leaders have a problem with free speech. I didn’t say anything bad to them. i don’t imagine if i was into a confrontation with them.
BTW : I have every proof i didn’t say anything wrong, these are the ones that kicked me out / blocked me without the possibility to talk after calling me a liar and everything else.
They take farming pugs and dodging other premades in Epic BGs very seriously, if you can’t tell. lol.

If you decide to roll some horde toons you wanna spend time doing wpvp shoot me a message. Just a small group of friends that group when we are online. Nothing serious, nothing big, just me and 5 other like minded people. We don’t care what you play, who you play with, or if you have notable skill. We have fun even when we die.
We do have mains on alliance but horde wpvp is infinitely more fun in my opinion. Doing it as Ally so far this xpac has been shooting fish in a barrel. Doing it as horde is absolute chaos with a pretty constant stream of ally to keep us entertained.
This is an open invitation, I don’t drop my bnet on the forums anymore cause boy did that lead to some less than desirables, but send an in game message if you ever want to connect!
