Came out just before start of Senior year
What would be a great story is if Geyaârah takes her axe off her back and swings around really fast and takes off that fake Lotharâs head.
I see this and think
- who/what is Arathor?
- who is Danath?
- who is Geyaârah?
- why would the crazy crystal-worshiper leave her people and Beledar?
Strictly speaking weâre dumpstering a bunch of alliance.
let me guess, one quest each week that takes 1 minute to complete?
Sorry but the idea of a one eyed one armed girl fighting on the front lines is ridiculous. Might as well put her in a wheelchair too but Khadgar has that covered.
- Arathor is the first human nation and nominally comprised about half of the eastern kingdoms; Lordaeron, Gilneas, Dalaran, Alterac, Stromgarde, Stormwind and Kulâtiras can all trace their roots to that nation which apparently just⌠left at some point? Anyways the people we meet in Hallowfall are descended from that empire.
- Danath is a veteran of the first war and the nominal leader of the nation of stromgarde⌠such as it is.
- Geyârah is the leader of the Magâhar and ~due to AU Hijinx~ technically Thrallâs sister. Has serious issues with the light in general and lightforged Draenei in particular.
- Faerin is fascinated by the history of the Arathi; this would be like getting to visit Camelot or Avalon for us.
It is all too convoluted and complex for me to understand. And I am supposed to read real books, plus short stories, plus listen to at least one audio-book?
No thanks.
Just show me who to kill and where they are. If there is not a TL:DR or movie version, I am not gonna know it. These days all I care about is completing the MSQ on my main. Anything aside from that is gravy.
I would rather not join Faerin in anything. I am not sure who thought her up but she is wildly uninspiring and empty as a character. She seems more like a very pathetic attempt to inject a DEI character into the story.
I thought that she was bland but a little sympatheticâŚuntil i read the last novel on her: It seems that they will set her up to be âthe Chosen Oneâ of something, maybe related to the Sacred Flame or Azeroth.
In other word, we will end up with the typical DEI character âflawless and better than anyoneâ, the type of character that no one want to see.
Agreed. Why force DEI propaganda down our throats? Blizzard, keep your politics out of my games.
Good times⌠Good timesâŚ
I liked the 1984 version of the movie better. Go Wolverines!
I was driving on the freeway in the fast lane, with a rabid wolverine in my underwear; when suddenly a guy behind me in the back seat, popped right up and cupped his hands across my eyes. I guessed, âIs it Uncle Frank or Cousin Louie? Is it Bob or Joe or Walter? Could it be Bill or Jim or Ed or Bernie or Steve?â
I probably would have kept on guessing, but about that time we crashed into the truck. And so as Iâm laying bleeding there on the asphalt, finally I recognize the face of my Hibachi dealer. Who takes off his prosthetic lips and tells meâŚ
Everything you know is wrong. Black is white, up is down and short is long, and everything you thought was just so important doesnât matter because the simple fact remains that everything you know is wrong. Just forget the words and sing along. All you need to understand is, everything you know is wrong.
Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
Its an alright quest chain, but I think the real bummer here is that the zone does not update after the quest to reflect the current situation, rather it just goes back to BFA warfront mode when you turn in the final quest.
NO , The Stormgarde is destroyed, THE HORDE IS ETERNAL.
Shoulda been Faerin Silverhand- had the Gnomes build her a prosthetic that shoots fire, the occasional bomb, as well as some kind of cool visor giving her amazing sight.
And if they had made her bitter, angry, and dangerous: kind of like the character Dr. House, she would have made a better foil for Anduin and also have a story arc allowing her to not be sooooo boring.
Red Dawn? Anyone else thinking Wolverines right now?
I couldnât buy the premise â they just didnât have the airlift capacity to airdrop troops in the middle of the continent.
Still, a heck of a lot of people my age loved it.
Yeah, it is unlikely that any country would be able to pull off a ground invasion of the United States (other than a slow infiltration). There was a board game called âFortress Americaâ which was pretty cool too (US was OP in that game too).
