Jetsam Drift Griefing Problem

This is all you took?

That’s not griefing either.

I grew up in teh era of sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me – people of my age when young were hiding in Fox holes as safe places to avoid bullets in vietman . Now they need safe places to avoid words

Yup. Ok my dear.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying its not against the rules. I’m just saying that’s not an example of griefing.

Not relevant in a game with terms of services.

That’s not griefing that’s how Blizzards tagging system works. If a player is in a party of 5 or raid tags a mob that isn’t a rare (or otherwise specified to be tagged regardless of the number of players like World/Event bosses) it will be grayed out for everyone else.

The language they use however can be against ToS and you can report them for toxicity and profanity.

Griefing is when other players don’t let me do whatever I want.

I tried to sell something for 1000g and someone griefed me by selling theirs for 900g

Do what? Kill mobs in the open world?

Someone being a jerk about it doesn’t make them killing the mob a problem. It’s the text behavior that’s a problem in that case.

That’s not griefing; Destroying your hard work/disrupting your gameplay purely for the pleasure of being a selfish/toxic bully. That’s economics sir.

Step 1: Make friends on a low pop realm
Step 2: Have them invite you to a group
Step 3: Enjoy the place all to yourself

Frog farming 2.0

They never learn.

Yea because we aren’t barbarian monkeys as much as some people want us to be.

No one deserves to be verbally abused in a video game. Learning to share was like, first grade stuff but apparently some people skipped that grade.

I’m so glad I did this grind already…

Three changes I’d love to see…

Quit using stupid low drop chance items as a means to extend the time required for things like cosmetics.

NEVER grey out mobs that are required for any kind of content (these don’t really count but the point still stands - events and quests that require killing multiple mobs in an area should always allow anyone to get a tag if they hit the mob).

Implement some damn anti-farming system already - how hard is it to just stop dropping whatever people are farming (99% of the time bot mat farmers) after some set interval while still leaving decent drops in place for those just playing through instead of inevitably nerfing the drops for everyone.

Yes, I agree.
Especially in the story where they’ve put all of us into cooperating with each other. Perhaps it’s something they’ve overlooked because most of the time it’s not an issue.

Nothing good ever seems to come from a hyperspawn existing.

Blizzard introduces something worth getting. The means of getting it is some item that drops from some mob.

And instead of making that mob the same as for most others in the game (you shoot it, you loot it, first or last) they make it first shoot, first loot only. To me, that seems like something from the early days of Classic/Vanilla WoW where the devs actually didn’t know game design that well due to inexperience.

NOTE: I am recuperating from surgery and cannot do Siren Isle until Im healed so I dont know much of anything about the place or what goes on there. This is a general comment.

im so confused

you are farming in a group but mad that someone else is also farming in a group?
