He can’t? I feel sorry for him. Here I am thinking he was way more powerful than that.
Anyway, maintenance is preventative … maintenance … so that catastrophic errors don’t happen in the future. Maintenance is not something that fixes all current bugs. They may apply fixes for some bugs during maintenance, but certainly not for all of them.
As much as you folks want this fixed, there are other more important bugs to fix that come first. I am sorry about that. But we all wait in line for the bugs that affect us personally to be fixed. We also need to have a wide scope of vision and understand that while some bug might be absolutely huge and dominating in our personal worlds, there are larger groups of people affected by other bugs - and all of us being equals, we wait out turn.
