Wasn’t any big mystery that she didn’t actually have one ounce of actual power and that her “promotion” was just a big stunt to try and get some of the heat off Activision. No big surprise that she is moving on to greener pastures where her position may actually be legit.
Real big shame though…we got a literal no life mythic raiding tryhard as the president and a has been mythic raiding tryhard as the game director…game is so screwed with no hope for casuals anytime soon.

Jen leaving Blizz to support women’s integration into tech is actually the way to go.
Probably they were thinking “Hey guys, let’s hire some diversity!” and then realized there are too few females in the professional field available. They would just end up hiring people unfit for the job, hence supporting the next generation is logically correct.

Nothing stopping them from rehiring the women they let go for complaining about the abuse, they were good enough to be hired in the first place so ‘unfit’ is the wrong word.
