Jailer Kill Cinematic... Really?

Well this actually is in line with what Arthas wanted. This is consistant story writing. And I like how they included the forge of souls. Didn’t think they would do that. It all ties to old stuff. Good cinematic.

Either he flip’d his lid finding out about Void Lords like Sargeras before him (hopefully), or Blizzard just can’t keep it in their pants regarding threat escalation anymore.

The callback to Arthas believing he did what he did to rule a united Azeroth under the Scourge, at least, is decent writing. Even if “there’s a bigger threat” makes for terrible closure.

I really don’t like this ending. It implies we aren’t done with this Sci-Fi cosmic stuff. I wanted the next xpac to be down to earth and back on azeroth. Are we really doing more of this?

The Nerubians could have been used as well. Look how deep that machinery went!

There’s a Zereth Mortis for every plane man. We’re doing more of this eventually.

Zovaal, reminds me of the Robot on the Queen album cover, “News of the World.”

They’ve had people say this since Algalon was a thing in Ulduar, it’s getting old. At the very least N’zoth had a valid reason for saying he was saving us from everything else and we weren’t ready cause part of the void powers are actually foresight.

Don’t see why the jailer gets this same excuse though.

That doesn’t mean we have to go to them. No one liked this, why are they making us do this more?

He is literally just a rehashed Sargeras. He wants to protect us from what’s to come, probably the seventh Cosmic Force.

From the beginning the Jailer was never “I want to kill all of existence because I am evil” he was always “I want to re-write reality because this one is trash (in his opinion)” His goal was legit to only re-make things better (in his eyes)…why are you shocked that he said that in his final words?

But… who saves us from extra cheese on our pizza?

The Nerubians have always been criminally underused.

Where everything in the realm of death was supposed to be created. All other planes are supposed to have their own Zereths

If the OP is referring to this, he’s really misleading people.

Because we’ve killed most of the bad guys left on Azeroth and people are more sick of forcing the Faction War to rekindle for “reasons”.

It implies there is a greater threat the Zovaal was worried about. And it’s already established in the lore that there is like a clockmaker or something along those lines.

And I think the motivations of characters are consistant. The use of forge of souls was cool and ice crown. I think that dungeon makes sense now. I was wondering what the heck it was doing there.

Yogg-saron’s blood was used to make ICC. And Azeroth itself was used to power whatever plans zovall had of dominating the cosmos. Apparently to unite everyone against a perceived threat.

Does anyone actually care to do this again with several other planes? I just want to hit dragons with my sword…

“I will create a new reality, where all shall serve”. Yeah, what valiant intentions he had.

They literally pulled this “I was trying to save everyone from the Void Lords (or whatever it is)” out their asses.
