It's Up To You To Have Fun

They’re removing a lot of the chaos you mention

That’s why shadowlands is supposed to magically make the game better

The theme is more interesting than “we’re having a war, but what da real war about?”

Sure you’re free to do so but if you’r goal is to say

Then you’ll have to do better

Moreover when you try to claim a 2nd hand opinion

on something you didn’t do without any arguments than " I like it".
you just appear as a troll.
You can like BFA, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a bad expansion.

I agree, I’m all for democracy I think.

Thank you for sharing! Your post has many great truths. I think the only reason I love this game and this expansion is because of my friends and family that I play with! There may be some new things coming in Shadowlands, but the playerbase will still be the same, and most abilities, classes, and features will be very similar, if not just scaled down.

I think elitism and rudeness are too prevalent in WoW, and that’s unfortunate. People are funneled into certain types of content based on their preferred activity, and it makes people feel like they don’t have a choice. The great thing is that you have a choice every time you log on to play! You never have to do a single dungeon if you don’t want to. You don’t need to raid, and you don’t need to have or upgrade the legendary cloak either (although I certainly recommend it, it’s been fun for me).

WoW is a game and you should be having fun. If you’re not having fun now, then you probably will not be having that much fun in Shadowlands. You have to make it fun.

People pay for a game because the game is supposed to make it easier to have fun. And, when you buy a product, expecting some quality from it is not out of the ordinary.

I agree. And hopefully, Shadowlands will make it easier for us all to make the game fun!

Me too friend.

While I will say I “enjoyed” BFA at least superficially, trying to gear up and keep track of it’s 9 something plots and splitting off subplots has me running in circles trying to gear up, which is it’s own problem when gear flip flops up to a certain point on what is “best” between 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3. BFA is a perfect example of the old saying: “More is less and less is more.”

I stopped reading and don’t care about what else you have to say.

No.

That’s a part of the problem. The stuff above that should be the cherry on top of the sundae, not the entire sundae.

High end endgame should be only a small part of a percentage of the expansion, not the main focus of it.

You know, like how the game started. Build a world for everyone, not the 1%.

If the game isn’t fun then you can’t just magically make it fun. It should be easy to have fun and not forced.

While BfA may be an underrated expansion and the feeling of fun is a totally subjective emotion, Blizzard needs make changes in Shadowlands. It doesn’t matter how good any product if it isn’t selling well and making the company money for their stockholder.

That kind of leaves the devs job of making a fun game out of the equation. That would seem an essential aspect of their work.
