The mage tower when released, we were straight up told âthe mage tower appearances access will be removed after Legionâ so thereâs your confirmation. Just like MOP cloaks, legion appearances are gone forever.

This. And Iâm furious with myself for not getting the BrM monk weapon, so Iâm not a âI have it and wanna be a snowflake!â debater. But I had plenty of time and plenty of notice. I missed out. Sucks to be me.

Mmm not in the way you think. Mage Tower doesnât correlate whatsoever with SL. Gonna have to try a different angle.
Every time one of these pop up, all I can think of is, âI really should go do those 10 RBGs for werebadgerbearâ. It really is the best version of the best bear skin.
Anyway, no. New mage tower, new rewards please. And make sure to do them this time.

Pretty sure literally nobody unsubbed and quit playing because they canât do the mage tower. lol
This will always be a two sided debate.
I did the mage tower for a few specific specs that I thought I would be playing going forward. I did feral, all three lock specs, and fury.
Because of class changes, I play none of those now.
So unless you did all specs for all classes, there is always going to be this debate because people will like or dislike changes to classes causing them to migrate to something they didnât play in legion.
I honestly never thought I would play dk, this toon wasnât even leveled in that xpac. Itâs my fault, I accept that.
With that all said, a time walking mage tower event might not be a bad idea. Even if only once or twice a year.
For new players or those who tried something new AFTER legion I think it would be nice.

Well lets also reopen the black harvest title for warlocks since I missed it in MoP and lets also reopen the SoO heirlooms and mount since I missed that and all the anniversary awards from previous years I wasnât subbed. I didnât get the corehound mount or the cosmetic weapon enchant from Ragnaros. Letâs just add all that back too since scaling.
I have most of that stuff you mentioned and could not care less if it came back somehow.
Itâs pixels in a game, let people obtain stuff that adds joy for them. Good grief

I donât really care either but itâs time and resources to Blizzard and it would end up a constant âWell Mage towers backs so lets bring back the challenge weapons from WoD and the sets from MoPâ for a system thatâs not even there anymore. I would rather see effort going forward than have them spend time revamping old limited content every patch cycle.
On the other handâŚthey told everyone that the stuff was going away and you have all this time to do it and by the end of Legion everyone was over geared for it with LFR pieces. It wasnât some extraordinary challenge so I also donât see the why people just didnât do it then, I leveled classes just to do the challenges for the pieces I wanted.
So long as the difficulty of it was the same (flow of the fights too) as it was before the sargeras sword empowerment.
Even without the rewards, the challenges were a great learning experience, for me personally. Learned a lot how to play specs that I didnât touch until legion, and improve upon classes that I had thought I knew how to play. Really wish I could get another chance at doing the healer scenario (even without rewards).
Was it though? I leveled DK, got well geared for frost with 4 piece and legendaries did the mage tower and then swapped for unholy for the first time all expac and 1 shot the unholy mage tower through sheerly being over geared.
Because Agatha was near the bottom in terms of difficulty. Additionally unholy had a very good toolkit to cheese the challenge even more. Not to mention a load of usable on Azeroth potions could be consumed for Agatha (sylvan and lightblood) When did you do your frost and unholy kills?
Somewhere near each other. Frost wasnât much harder, think I failed three times for silly reasons. I would say I was fully geared from normal Antorus around the time of them both.
And you know, I think I would be salty if they reopened mage tower and the Prot paladin challenge was even a shred easier because that was the most frustrating one I did in antorus LFR gear right at like 905 ilvl.

Also I earned the Warglaives of Azzinoth when they were current on my rogue, where is my limited time reward? I have to play a dumb demon hunter just to use the transmog. I want to play rogue not dh. (Rant over)
They can also implement the appearances in the in game shop, they have already done it with mounts, donât see why it would be an issue. If I canât get my warglaives on my rogue I will go out of my way to ensure no one else feels special.
