“Devs said it was time limited” is a bad argument. The devs were dead set against transmog at one point, the devs were wrong.

I’m not even sure I’d go play the mage towers right now if I could. I’d just like to see better justifications for deleting content.

I don’t think they ever said that. It was just a feature they hadn’t worked on.

For artifacts I think it is less of a concern. The druid forms are what I think need to be introduced in some way and that is simply because there arent many druid forms to choose from, as compared to like 1000 different swords.

If there are 1000 out there suck it up you cant get 1 color of one. If there are 10 out there it is MUCH more impactful

The mage tower had literally nothing to do with level scaling. It had everything to do with it being entirely built around legion class design and artifacts.

Part of the reason for it’s removal was due to both of those things not existing anymore post-Legion. If blizzard had wanted the Mage tower to exist through multiple expansions, They would probably have redesigned the tower and maintained It with major content patches, but given how early they announced it’s eventual removal it’s pretty clear that keeping it in the game was not their intent.

I’m honestly kind of curious why people feel the need to constantly bring up this topic when they already know that blizzard is never going to re-introduce the MT as it was in legion or bring back it’s rewards. They still haven’t brought back MoP or WoD CM transmog, so what in the world is the thought process that they would bring back the Mage Tower?

Even if they do somehow bring similar features to the MT back (like it seems they are going to be doing with Torghast) the rewards from legion are not making a return, ever.

Just because the rewards were limited does not change the fact that they need to bring back the mage tower, it was good content wasted and in my opinion should never have been removed in the first place. They should add those cosmetic rewards back too for new players and for players who missed out during legion. I’ve seen so many of these threads so it is a highly requested subject.

They should also bring back the Legion Invasion prelaunch event as well. Hell they might as well bring back all the prelaunch events at once since we don’t want new players to miss out.

Yep. Screw SL production. We need players to not feel bad about missing out on previous expansions instead of looking forward to the next one.

He gets mad whenever you bring up the first quest in cata revamped Silverpine. He just jelly his warchief isn’t cool enough to break the mature language filter.
