Why are the developers consolidating around single-server versions of the game?
I think that’s a question for the developers.
Not sure if you’re keeping up with what’s going on for MoP, but this Tweet was from 5 days ago:
“Hypothetically, after our success running the entire of Season of Discovery and Anniversary on effectively one realm, what would you think about the entire of MoP Classic living on one giant realm? Hypothetically.”
And this blue post from today:
It appears that the future of Classic is single realms per version.
