I guess you never bough a cheap herb in your life, eh ?

Geez we’re not talking about blood diamonds here, just some nerds picking virtual flowers.
Ralph is the other toon (likely his) that creates these forum threads once a week … always the same topic under a different title.
Ralph is a meme. You’re lucky you don’t know what it is.
Just make a category for selling boosts would be better imo.
Blizzard has already given blessing to sale runs as long as they’re paid for with in-game gold. No, they shouldn’t be advertising in LFG and I report them when I see them but the process will continue as supply = demand.
Those casuals gotta inflate their ilvl beyond their skill somehow and those entitled children don’t want to put in effort for anything.
Get over yourself, not everyone is as poor as you.
It feels ironic that a cheater is telling someone to get good. You probably have zero accomplishments on this game and just bot all day. sorry i mean multibox.
I dont mind it. I dont care about it at all. I just agree that spamming all the channels is annoying and would prefer them going to their own section within group finder for “selling runs”. It would let people waste less time in a wall of “selling runs” text that gets annoying.
Just turn off trade chat. It’s been all politics lately anyway.
They do need to do better with posting in lfg though. I report and flag any sale/carry/streamer run I see just cause it’s taking up space for what I’m looking for.
You sound too angry but sounds like you bough some cheap flask 2 weeks ago, but don’t worry there are multi-boxers selling carries too.
Not to dropkick this response, but I’ll be super excited if my chosen gathering profession gets more value for my wasted time spent farming. While it’s undoubtedly true multi-boxers make the herb market much more affordable to those who simply wish to buy instead of farming it. You need to remember that your average herb farmer is a single account holder that will now slave away for much longer periods of time to get any real value returned for their time spent. The multi-boxer isn’t as concerned in this area as you have a farming rate anywhere from usually 5 to whatever the node cap is in each pick. You will spend the same amount of time farming as the solo account holder and get a yield far beyond what the single character achieved in the same amount of time and due to the overflow on the market you just made their time less valuable.
Those solo accounts have to compete with AH barons and a flooded market where even if you sell your herbs for cheap you’ll be making hundreds of thousands of more gold than that solo character and they will be forced to adjust their prices to a lower rate to hopefully be bought out by a flipper or someone looking for the cheapest deal around.
From a boxers viewpoint you believe you’re helping everyone, and in some cases you’re absolutely helping those that buy their products as they’re getting a great deal, but you also hurt those that intended on practicing their gathering profession and are unable to justify the value per time spent reward on such an activity.
I spend far less time herbing because it’s absolutely not worth it to me in its current state, I spend a significant amount of time just trying to find the big herbs in najz that hasn’t been picked clean by a swarm of druids. I probably haven’t sold a herb in nearly a year because it’s simply a waste of my time when I can simply make more money spam running freehold normal as a tank per hour from trash mobs with gold and green drops.
And that should never be the case for a gathering profession imho.
Its not just trade chat. Its also group finder.
Let the people selling runs in group finder get their own section for selling runs.
Not for long.
Heck I used to sell the Demons for the Rhok’delar quest back in Vanilla on my Hunter to those not good enough to do it themselves. Got 50g per Demon or you could buy all 4 for 160g. Made bank on that.
There is nothing wrong with selling carries as long as it’s for gold. If you don’t like the real money aspect that’s on Blizzard for selling tokens.
Not opposed to that but buying or selling runs isn’t something I’m interested in so I really don’t care what they do.
You can’t address the supplier without addressing the person wanting the service. It’s a two way street. If people stopped buying carries, there’d be no carries to sell.
The guilds I know of that sell carries do so to put money in their gbank to stock up on supplies to help with raiding. I personally don’t see anything wrong with this if Blizzard says selling carries for in-game gold is an acceptable practice.
I want to meet ralph. I like memes.
Yup, it ultimately comes down to the buyer as they create the demand. With no demand there would be nobody supplying.
Did you buy any herb or carry lately ?
Of course. I agree with everything you said. I dont want to stop it. I just want it better managed
you can’t /leave GROUP FINDER
