It's time to admit M+ and tank changes have made this season DOA

Yes. Raids are DEing loot and filling out offspecs well before most raiders actually clear it.

The gap in the early to mid season is super well Documented.

Surely, mythic plus had NOTHING to do with it.

And how 1 item per week really adds up.

Imagine increasing that to two.

And we had crafted gear at parity before… so…

Since both vault rows are mutually exclusive , that’s correct.

Just not as fast as raid.

I could see something like a repeatable quest that gets a charge every week, so you can get up 1 in the vault and one from quest to time a >= 10/12, and have a half decent catchup mechanic for late season alts.

But some vault choices are from m+ because people don’t get that far in raid.

Which contributes to more loot. (but M+ is the cause, and not raid.)

Having just two vault slots makes people susceptible to be screwed over by bad luck.

2 myth track items from m+ per week, is way too much.

You’ll need to full clear raid, and you won’t even get that kind of loot.

Why? You wouldn’t be full geared till the halfway point in the season anyway (and even then, that’s with exceptional luck). Not quite as fast as raid, but it cuts into it a little bit.

… You don’t get much loot from raid to begin with. Then guilds start perma-extending (like people below HOF.) And then loot drops to zero.

Even guilds at HOF level sometimes perma-extend.

Like what’s the point of this statement? Raiders have a monopoly on gearing. Yes, you stop getting loot if you stop killing bosses. You know when people start extending? When they’re done getting loot. lol. Gear sharing in a mythic raid group has maximum efficiency.

Raid does not have a monopoly on gearing.

m+ does to raid what delves do to m+.

Too much free loot? Then people don’t need it from raid anymore.

Like most of the gear will be from m+ because raid drops are a pittance.

If you want more loot from m+, you’ll need to double/triple loot from raid.

To keep a semblance of parity.

Meanwhile? you’re complaining about how m+ 10 gives myth track and how it’s too hard to reach there.

Want pseudo parity?

Mythic track will now drop at +12, and great vault loot matches end of dungeon loot.

But you can farm mythic items as you wish.

(Or maybe really, +13 might be a better starting point.)

Until people can kill mythic Ovi’nax, they should not be seeing a single mythic track item from m+.

So, maybe we need to move it to +15 based on current tuning.

You’re not looking at this from average player perspective. AVERAGE players often will not run M+ at all, they’ll just run raid with their guild and then log for the week. Or some of them wont raid, they’ll only run M+ with their buddies, or in my case pugs because my buddies quit due to the loot economy… but I have no interest in raiding… So yah I’m okay with grinding out 10’s 11’s 12’s 13’s to get raid equivalent gear… but to feel like or KNOW that I’ll only get one single Mythic Raid equivalent piece per week w/o raiding mythic is discouraging.

Average players also aren’t getting any mythic track gear, in any season, from any source.

You need to kill 5 mythic bosses as is, to get 20 items for the raid. (20 people, so 1 per person on average.)

How many guilds do you think will be in that position? (Currently, 23.)

So, to meet that same distribution… maybe +13 keys? lol.

But that’s only 1 a week…

M+ is vastly more rewarding than raid.

Delves are at least, just easier than m+ but not more rewarding.

Nobody is saying free loot. It’s bureaucracy-free, so maybe that’s the confusion? It’s just different. Different skill set.

I assume you mean hero track gear? Cuz nobody cares about hero track gear. My entire point is about myth gear specifically, and I know you wouldn’t throw a red herring into this argument.

Not more loot, no. Just more chances in a season.

Based on past seasons, 100% of the guilds that I’m in.

And about 9k guilds world wide.

Im not talking about the average player. I’m talking about good players and myth track gear. Not hero track gear. Not champion gear.

Aren’t you just complaining about how there’s no progression in m+ because of delves… in this very thread because hero track gear is not good enough for you?

You’re complaining about +10s, which is easier than mythic raid bosses.

Of course, the third alternative would be for them to stop relying on making players do content they aren’t going to like and design it to be fun. But that would take some research, and they don’t seem to be good with that.

I’m just boggled at how much you despise the people you are forced to tolerate in a videogame.

I’m not. Also this statement is a generalization that is false. There are bosses that are harder than 10’s. And there are 10’s that are harder than some bosses.
