Why are you blaming blizzard and not the army of trolls that wanted m+ loot nerfed?
You’re not a real customer if you don’t play 40 hours a week. Remember, you’re not supposed to be able to do 10’s in champion gear.

Tanks being so powerful is a part of the problem and they mess up everyone else’s roles with how strong they are, even after the nerfs it’s still an issue tbh. I know on my Warrior my health hardly moves while a DPS getting hit for some reason or another falls over instantly. Some Tanks are stronger than others OFC.
Tanks are still so strong that damage needs to be crazy high for them to feel threatened. If Tanks are weakened more and then the content itself becomes less punishing the game would be more fun for everyone IMO.
Blizz decided to make M+ difficult so most of us that only did M+ for decent loot just do Delves instead. It’s not a tank issue but Delves giving us another gear path. In the past the low key levels were not very hard and a good step up with each key level. I feel like keys are overturned now and there is not a good place to learn compared to before.
The game as a whole has been overly pushing difficult content while making the game more and more difficult with each expansion. I like a challenge but I don’t find the way it’s done in WoW that fun.
I like getting stronger rewards as I move up in keys. And that requires higher tuning. Or we get super-myth track and like, the keys below still aren’t getting it.
Because blizzard followed that bs advice I guess. (But they only did that because of greed… they want loot to be slow and hard because they think it’ll make people play longer.)
And you’re right, we’re supposed to be clearing 7 keys with the same gear we had before the season even started apparently… absolutely disappointing.
Same.
I think I’d like to see a coffer-key like system for m+. You use your keystone to get loot at the end.
You don’t have to run the key you have. You can run other keys for pure score (no reward). Everyone with a key can get loot (deterministic). And it allows them to put a cap on the loot, so there’s no reason not to scale to myth track.
Add a finite number of charges, and presto- m+ loot can be good without being infinite.
If your skill level is reaching that point when content is nerfed, maybe wait until content is nerfed before you complain?
You got your KSHs super late.
You aren’t getting my point though. It’s witholding one track of gear (or creating a new one) to be exclusive to +10.
M+ was popular both because you could spam dungeons targetting the loot you want and because of the challenge.
Removing the spam m+ for loot part is about as useful as the current adjustments in making people bother.
I would have to vehemently disagree. If the tanks are not suffering, and the instanced is overtuned, the correct answer would be buffing DPS and heals to match the tank. If the group is already failing because the tank is the only one who can take the punishment, then everyone else needs to come up a bit. nerfing tanks would only leave instances at their existing level, and then even the tanks would give up because of the power vaccuum. Not everyone in this game wants the challenge of a 5 phase 20 minute fight. Some of us like to drop a boss in 3-5 minutes.
There’s nothing left to get in m+ this week except for vault. Spammable loot is worthles if it caps out too low. (See: delves).
Having a way to get more than 1 myth piece per week (without making myth infinitely farmable) is high on my list of desires for this game.
you could just raid…
Good, grouping with strangers is lame, play the game to have fun instead of obsessing about gear.
Uhh, no, m+ definitely does not even need to be more rewarding vs raid.
EXACTLY.
And this leads to players just quitting keys that are not timed, even if they are low keys.
Historically people usually will stick it out up til 20 keys (aka 10 now) at least… but nah… now they wont even stick to a 4 key if its not going super smooth because whats the point, there is literally no loot pre SEVEN.
uh… ya, actually its perfectly reasonable to allow m+ players to play the freaking game, without being forced to raid. BUT with that said, you’re fine Not even counting mythic raiding, heroic raids have like 50% more dps gain than m+ does (excluding vault) but with vault then m+ is better than raid, so in other words both are dependent on each other. So even if you just wanna raid, you’re practically forced to M+ 10 keys to be competitive in raid, and vice versa you’re required to raid to be competitive in M+. Its very disappointing to those of us that do not enjoy that raid environment at all.
Delves do to m+ what m+ does to raid.
Like it trivializes so much loot from raid.
I find it hard to sympathize.
There’s no loot pre 10. And that doesn’t hit till next week.
It’s not. That’s a myth. You get 24 chances at good loot per season with m+. If you’re really, really, exceptionally lucky, you’ll catch up to raiders in week 16 of the season.
This myth that m+ is even remotely comparable to raid loot is crazy.
actually id be fine for m+ to start dropping mythic pieces for some insane key level like 16-17s lmao, just a small reward for being in the title range for keys. most people in that range are most likely raiders anyway.
You think guilds are inundated with mythic loot?
How many do you think are killing 5 bosses? (Which , I remind you, only 23 guilds in the world have done so.)
And that’s to get an average of 1 item per person.
Most guilds aren’t full clearing mythic by like week 3.
If its not title for raiders, it shouldnt be title for m+'ers Let us just do the loot we want to do? Make Mythic loot a constant gain in gear all the way up, so that you have to earn your gear from 6 key to do 7 key, and then 7 key to do 8 key, and so forth… and let the gear go up to the same lvl as raiders get… Time them both to be fair and reasonable so that both raiders and mythic players can get their myth level gear aroudn the same time…
If you get one shot at loot per key level, per week, that can work.
And mythic track would probably start at +12.
