It's time to admit M+ and tank changes have made this season DOA

Again, stating something that doesn’t matter. OP isn’t asking for competition in groups. He’s asking to enter groups. Your solution is that he needs to have friends before he starts playing World of Warcraft. You’re not getting it.

My initial response was to this statement, what the OP contained is irrelevant.

it felt more fun before this “0 is 10” thing.

also with the different crests being spread this way and the caps, nobody overqualified is going to sign up for low keys to farm mats like they did back then.

What fact exactly? You saying “google it” isn’t providing anything to support your claims. It is a fact that Blizzard has not released Sub numbers in a long long time. This is 100% you being faced with actual facts, but unable to let go of your misguided beliefs.

So what’s your stance on this? Do you still feel that before you can do mythic plus in World of Warcraft you must make friends prior to playing the video game? Did I talk you out of it or is that still the hill that you will die on alone?

No, my stance is that you can’t expect to progress on the same level as those who do. I never said you can’t do m+ without a team, just that you shouldn’t EXPECT to be competitive.

For reference… Where did I say you can’t do m+?

In the first week or so of a Season? Not really.

The problem is there are players who still think iLevel is the be all and think M+ is over tuned because they’re failing.

ilvl and io score combined.
if you have a sick ilvl and terrible io youre still no taken

It wasn’t that long ago that almost everyone was saying M+ was ruining WoW. Because it was. Mythic+ dungeons were only fun for the people who wanted that sort of challenge. For the rest of us, it made us either quit the game or do other things.

I came back for delves and, to be honest, they’re ok, but the duplicate drop rate sucks and they tend to get old fast. It’s honestly quite an achievement to have 8 continents at your disposal and still manage to offer your players basically nothing to do.

you’re absolutely right, ksm barely scratches the surface

When you respond to this just say yes or no. Should the OP be able to complete a mythic dungeon without Having a friend in real life who plays this video game? Yes, or no please.

No one wants ever said you should Expect to be competitive with or without friends. Please stop talking about this. No one cares about this.

What weak attempt at a straw man… Nowhere has real life friends been mentioned until now and nowhere has ability to complete a mythic dungeon been brought into question. Your inability (or refusal) to comprehend clearly written English is astonishing.

The ENTIRE argument you first responded to SPECIFICALLY mentioned expectation of being competitive. Are you really this dumb or just a troll with their training wheels still attached?

I’m only going to respond to you one more time because at this point you believe you’re arguing for something else so do I. Should you need friends to do mythic plus? Yes or no, this is only care about. I don’t care about anything else you say other than yes or no. You can throw insults you can say whatever you want to say, but that is the only thing that matters at this point if you believe you need friends to do myth then you are part of the problem with this video again.

Learn in 2 or 3s? That’s what I did. I don’t move on until I stopped dying from mechanics (learning).

My argument has never been that you should have friends before doing m+. (NO for the dunce in the room).

My argument is that it is objectively IMPOSSIBLE to have a competitive game mode in which pre-made teams don’t have a distinct advantage. You might as well be mad that the sky is blue, if that offends you.

YOU chose to engage me in this conversation without understanding the context of MY statement. I’ve answered your question multiple times now, as anyone reading this thread can see. It’s becoming painfully obvious why you lack the friends we speak of…

The issue (well, one of them) is that Delves will drop you off nicely in the 2-4 Key Range.

Except, you won’t see decent upgrades again until the +9 range.

What’s supposed to fill in the gap between 4-9??

It seems like running a 6… gets you 6-level of gear. There’s no inherent progression. Not to GET to the 6, or to move past it.

So it lacks incentive to run a 5 (it doesn’t help you get to 6) …

…and to gear up for a 7, you need to run a … 9??

That’s how M+ feels to me atm.

KSM is a participation award. You can get that from afking with crest farmers and vault fillers.

+7 you will see upgrades.
but the rest yeah.

For those accustomed to leaning on item level for progression, this season is going to feel really bad. Knowing and executing the mechanics is where that progress will come from now. My first toon through got cheeks clapped. Our sub 485 alt crew is handling 3s and 4s just fine because we’ve learned the mechanics.

I guess my encouragement is just give it a few weeks and things will feel much easier. Once people learn what to kick, what to dodge, when to dispell, etc…

Counter point.

Gear is upgradeable.

That qualifies as progression and decent upgrades.
