Ah fair enough. I still think it’s not exactly fair to completely discount the fact that they do indeed use RWF as a point of reference for difficulty when the masses reach mythic progression. Then tune down accordingly.
The whole RWF is staged as a media spectacle. They nerfed the 6th boss because they didn’t want the “race” to slow down before reaching the last bosses.
People in this forum who don’t raid spend way too much time focusing on the made-for-TV event, and no time thinking about the other 1,598 guilds that will get CE that tier.

I actually don’t even like RWF. I find the whole thing to be damaging to the average playerbase that tries to copy everything these people do. Following FOTM metas like hawks, etc.
In the same vein, I still think it’s worth mentioning at least that RWF is basically a grand PTR test for Blizzard before the plebeians get to mythic.
For M0 sure.

Gotta ask Brewa, how do you tolerate the mythic raiding scene with all that goes on in it? I recall seeing some of your posts going back to SL raiding which I heard was nuts.
The bosses get tuned for RWF which takes some time to kill for those guilds
Then non RWF raiders come in right behind with some still struggling on encounters which takes weeks
More incoming nerfs for bosses happen
Seeing M Queen getting nerfed again in that final blue patch really had me wondering how do non RWF guilds put up with it.

I want to solo “queue” with my warband - all 5 chars to come from my warband, four played by AI, with the AI skill level reflecting either current or past accomplishment on the manually played character. It would trade in a whole new and very enjoyable level of roster management while trading out a really unenjoyable level of having to wait for availability of a compatible party, dealing with toxicity or simply different playstyles and preferences, etc. This wouldn’t need to go past the mainstream levels (the ones that still give gear increases) so the elite who are going for competitive rank can still have that as their own exclusive domain, while everyone else can enjoy the main part of the game without being gatekeeped out of it or shoehorned into the meta expectation of it.
When people can do TW dungeons without wiping then we;ll talk

Ummm, if you’re regularly seeing TW wipes, you might need to look in the mirror. I think I’ve seen maybe a couple in the past two years.
So your saying me being 619 with tier is causing the wipes, i also have multiple KSMs
Uh. People are leveling characters in this mode lol. It’s by no means a metric to determine whether or not a late game queueing system is worth trying. I understand (hopefully) that this was probably just hyperbole.
The only data I have to work with is your self-report that you appear to be experiencing an abnormal level of TW wipes. I’m giving you the best guess I have although I freely admit its just a guess.
Not sure the gear level matters in TW content one way or the other - doesn’t it auto-adjust to the content?

I do have to wonder if they did put in the queue if there wouldn’t immediately be people complaining that it’s too hard.
I don’t do m+ and I wouldn’t want to if it means ruining it for people who enjoy it
I’m pretty sure wanting a method to trap other people into being stuck with you or face penalties is taking the game too seriously.

Why are you playing in such a way where this is a complaint that you care about enough to the point where you’d want it to be a regular thing…?
“Interesting Mythic+ discussions”…? There’s just been more folks trolling on the forums rather than anything else in regards to M+. All from folks who are hard on taking away activities that they themselves don’t engage with, or just an interest in seeing WoW perish because they think it’d be funny to see WoW die off.

It’s the principal of the complaint, not how it applies to me. I think it’s sad that adults seem to care enough to want Blizzard to punish people for not carrying them, but don’t care enough to just learn their class better (or how to vet groups more properly) to create an environment where people don’t want to leave.
I don’t expect perfection out of anyone (because they certainly won’t be getting it out of me), but the bar for ‘doing a decent enough job’ is pretty reasonable.
