We have engineers as a profession. Like it or not, but tinkers is just a particular title of engineers.

The same day that ogres become part of the Horde, or shamans get to tank in retail.

But that ship sailed roughly … at the launch of WoW 20 years ago.

Exactly what lore do vulperas have to justify them being tinkers (Apart from “all races, all classes”)?

The races I think would be the most lore friendly are:

  • Gnomes
  • Mechagnomes
  • Dwarves
  • Dark Iron Dwarves
  • Draenei
  • Lightforged Draenei
  • Goblins
  • Undead
  • Mag’har Orcs
  • Earthen (Maybe, depending on what we see in TWW)

Smaller races could ride in a mech, while larger races could wear a power armor exoskeleton suit.

Hey we got warframes. You wouldn’t have any if there weren’t lightforged tinkerers. I guess that 500K price tag isn’t proof we know how to build mechs?

Lightforge Draenei its still under discussion because of Julaalu.

Just play any other class and pick up Engineering. It’s the same thing.
