You guys are lucky to grow up in a generation where girls are gamers too.
I played three sports simultaneously and still got funny looks when they saw my Sega genesis and SNES on the coffee table.
I met my husband playing Unreal Tournament … Yes a female playing a FPS 
We have been playing WoW since 2004 …
You can be good at wow and have a gf lol. just takes a LOT more effort and less sleep. Oh and lets not mistake being good at wow with playing wow all the dam time
If you have a gf you need to give her attention, otherwise whats the point?
For me, I live with my gf and she knows i raid every tues/thurs for 2.5 hours. My guild is 9/12m soon to be 10/12 and we only raid 5hours a week. Shes fine with this because its PLANNED
Now for me to get done my weekly chores to stay competetive, I sometimes find the time when shes out doing something with friends/family. But i mostly get it done on the weekend after she falls asleep. I force myself to stay up till like 4am fri/sat to do all my weekly stuff. It sucks cause youll lack a lot of sleep but you can forsure make it work.
Tl;dr - Dont ditch out on plans with ur gf for a video game, makeup the gametime later when you get a chance. If you raid tell her which nights you dedicate to that and explain that raiding is a fav hobby to you and requires dedication like being on a sports team.
If you have a gf you simply cant play wow all the time, unless gaming is literally your job. If youre going to ditch her and not give her attention then just dont have a gf

I would say look inside WoW and find one [since you might be on the save wavelength]. Unfortunately, I cannot lead by example as my adventure went down in a miserable ball of flames. Still fun while it lasted.
I know many couples who play WoW and other games together
OR… you could establish boundries in the relationships you make, and respect them from both sides. Allot time for her, and during that time give her your full attention.
Make it clear with your guild that at these times, don’t even bother reaching out because im with my girl.
relationships are work, its give and take based on respect… been married 12 years, still have the same fire as day 1. Also have AOTC.
It really isn’t that hard, just work on your time management.

As a woman who plays WoW, I concur. Unless I meet her through WoW, it just ain’t gonna work.
Every woman has a plethora of single males hitting them up, so y’all better have something that separates you from the rest. Don’t be the weird guy who DMs every woman in their new guild.

The Smash Bros. community is an excellent example of what happens when you do.

He mostly plays PVP games. So it’s in his genre. If he played PVE I would go with 280 since mobs are easy to hunt.
Only thing you should do in Smash community is hit on people. The less hits the better. More likely to end a stock match in 3 minutes or less that way.
My wife doesn’t play video games. Every time she’s tried over the years has not ended well.
I play my games, she watches her murder shows. Find your equilibrium.

My ex broke up with my because she wanted a relationship where " we do more things " and go pick apples and hay rides. And less nights at home.
I have been single ever sense saving my money playing wow at home.
Told myself, well if the girl I like doesn’t like the game I’ve been playing for over a decade, than I really don’t like her.
The right gal will come along eventually, get you a girl that loves wow and chillen at home :P.

I’ve been gaming since I was little, too. I see the “where is the gamer girl that I personally find hot/they don’t exist/girl gamers don’t (or didn’t exist)” mentalilty is still a thing. :\
