144 weapon designs should stay gone because for “reasons”?
thank god blizz calls the shots and not you people
There was nothing challenging about Mage Tower towards the end of Legion. This argument is getting nauseating at this point. Clearing Heroic Argus and getting the Violet Spellwing was significantly harder, but I guess the time and effort put in by Heroic and Mythic raiders is not prestigious enough for Blizz.
i bought it with gold
Yes, and people breezed their way through Mage Tower by getting lucky with rando legendary drops and/or waiting until the end of the xpac
Both types of content could be cheesed.
one you could get dead on the floor, the other you still had to do mechanics.
Completely dependent on class and spec. Some classes/specs could get through their Mage Tower fights by doing almost no mechanics at all. “Prestigious” indeed.
Ah yes, because wanting things to be accessible is such a crime, right?
I have some of the ‘exclusive’ items that Blizzard has created over time. I don’t care if other people have them. In fact, I want Blizzard to make them accessible again so other people can have them. Because it is not fair to new players who join this game that they can’t obtain these items, especially when the line on what is exclusive and what isn’t is so inconsistent.
Here’s a great example for you. The legendary ring from WoD and the legendary cloak from MoP. I have the cloak, so I have access to an entire region of the Timeless Isle and a boss I can farm that players without the cloak miss out on. And that boss drops loot with unique appearances that you can’t get if you don’t have the cloak. Why are the ring and cloak treated differently than, say, Val’anyr from Ulduar? Or Thunderfury, or the Glaives of Azzinoth, or Fyr’alath the Dream Render from Dragonflight?
If two legendaries from two different expansions are exclusive, then all legendaries should be exclusive, right? That seems only fair. But instead the cloak and the legendary ring are treated like they’re on a different tier compared to any other legendary. Worse still, those two legendaries and ONLY those two legendaries have entire quest chains behind them, which new players will never get to experience, and those quest chains are fairly important as well. Wrathion’s storyline in MoP, which was shown to players through the legendary quest chain to obtain the cloak, was critical to the entire expansion’s storyline. Likewise with the legendary ring quest chain, which covered all of Khadgar’s quest chain in WoD and showed us Cordana’s descent into becoming a servant of the Burning Legion.
If you’re a new player who joined the game during Legion, you would have had to do WoD content before you could jump straight into the new stuff (as Chromie Time didn’t exist at that point in the game), so you’d start with Cordana on your team, and you even get quests from her as she defends Khadgar, and then… nothing until you start Legion content, and suddenly she’s joined the Legion and is taunting you until you kill her as the final boss of the Vault of the Wardens dungeon.
But if you want to see how she turned? Sorry, that content is considered ‘exclusive’ to players who played WoD when it was current content. You aren’t even worthy of a recap.
And you think that’s fair? Right? You think that’s perfectly fine because ‘exclusivity is awesome,’ right? Well no, it’s not right. As I said, no other MMO does this crap. And Blizzard should learn from that and tell all the people who get mad when anyone suggests they should share exclusive stuff to step on a Lego.
it is right.
i would lose sleep over someone being able to acquire the mage tower artifacts after legion in retail wow.
Then you need to go see a psychiatrist because there’s something wrong with your brain.
Not being able to sleep because someone else has the same stuff you do is seriously unhealthy and not normal.
you dont know me brother
I mostly skimmed the thread, but I need to reply somewhere so I get pinged on updates, this is a juicy topic.
Would you do me a favor, and re-read what you typed in a few years? I think it would be a great sense of self reflection.
I know enough from your own admissions.
You’ve outright said that you ‘would not be able to sleep’ if someone had the same pixels that you do.
That’s unhinged behaviour and shows serious mental instabilities. Which you should get looked at, because it’s not normal.
I have the same fury warrior set unlocked that decimator is using as a xmog right now from the shadowlands mage tower. Decimator, looks like your not sleeping tonight ![]()
if u say so human pally
Oh, I’m sure someone like them will probably look back on what they typed with pride.
They’re a special group of people…
And not in a good way.
They really should add a feral form in S3 that has gold trim armor and looks like it’s housing a galaxy inside its body. It could be themed like the CE mount / new Glad mount.
Maybe also a void boomkin / bear form.
Bets are it never happens, but one can dream.
If Blizzard would add high quality druid forms (and I mean higher quality than the feral / bear forms from S3 DF), I think less druids would as salty about not being around or failing to get the MT druid forms.
The problem is Blizzard hasn’t added a feral form that is as much of a WOW! factor as the MT sparkle cats. The DF S3 feral forms were a huge disappointment (IMO), with eyes that don’t glow and mouths that were bugged when they yawned. The mouth was fixed but the eyes continue to be dull.
my only issue with that in the decade since legion they havent released warglaives even close to as cool as the ones from mage tower… I dont mind stuff being trophies but at least release other cool stuff other mage towers.
Im sure people feel the same about the feral druid\bear mage tower which i got back in legion. Its silly to lock super unique stuff and then not release stuff that looks kinda like it for those that missed out.
He is problematic and needs help. It’s fine to have fun in the game but WoW is not a job, it’s meant to be a hobby.
It’s a sign of low EQ.

Point 4, it’s quite ironic.
I think this is a solid point!
