The fact that you got all 36 and are trying to intentionally gatekeep them is pretty damn telling. I missed most of the XPAC because of deployments. How the hell is that fair? I had 3 months after I got back and managed to get 3 of them before the prepatch launched. Yeah cool whatever, nostalgia blah blah blah. The mount being locked behind that time period makes sense. However THE MAIN POINT OF THE EXPANSIONS SELLING POINT IN THE FIRST PLACE. Should not be in that criteria. It just feels bad. Imagine building an entire expansion around a mechanic. Somebody misses it because of a life event and now their screwed out of ever being able to get them. Now an AOTC mount feels crappy but not something so involved in the expansion to the point of it stayed til the last minute. I mean day 1 of the expansion to the end of it you had the artifact weapons. It’s not cool man. Bringing back old rewards is fine. The prestige of certain ones however do need to remain. But not something that effects every single person that played the expansion. Missing corrupted Ashbringer or Atiesh is totally fine. It’s 2 items. Missing 36 items that are completely tied to the expansions gimmick is such a dumb rule. The mists challenge appearances are also slightly a bad taste but make sense for the time. I don’t necessarily agree with bringing them back but they are in fact relics of the past. The scope of this is just insane man. I gotta say this is a bad take. Not fun, nobody likes this change except for the people that have them.
