They are simply do too much dps, and they hardly need any ilvl. It’s time to bring them back down to everyone else’s level.

Someone has to be at the top. So it’s a question of who should be at the top.
I’d argue the melee deserve higher dps than ranged. I’d also argue that pure dps specs should do more than classes which aren’t purely melee dps. That is their niche after all.
So if a rogue can’t enjoy top dps, who should?

Apparently that answer is warlock, boomkin, shadow priest in some rotating hierarchy and an occasional oops uh dk slipped in.
I don’t agree we need a nerf, in the 10ish key range I’m hanging out with monks and DH on aoe and losing to stronger ST specs on bosses. That’s fine.
I got absolutely dumpstered by a BM hunter on the meters last week.

Well here is the issue with nerfing rogue in PVE: If their damage is not desirable to bring to a raid, what raid utility do they have? None; nobody will bring a rogue to a raid if their damage isn’t top tier because they offer literally nothing to a raid group for buffs. Every other class has raid utility that incentivize inviting them. I don’t think damage should be the reason you invite any class, but until blizz gives them raid utility it should stay that way.

Did you watch World first race? Two DH finished on 80-90k dps with arcane mages following it up.
Why don’t your provide some evidence of the needed nerf instead of wildly touting false information
