Its finally over

I used to think that Legion to BfA was a tragedy, but now I realize that Blizzard is a comedy

Oh, BFA still isn’t over yet, not for at least another month.

So what content other than BfA are you gonna do that is new?

Me too. The countless hours fishing in the damn lava for Pagle coins right outside frostwall for that damn crimson strider.

Hah… I think the nightmare has only just begun.

Shadowlands isn’t very optimistic, imo.

Finally! A post actually criticizing Blizzard! I thought we’d never get one in this forum…

I miss classic Ashran. Why can’t this be a permanent battleground, complete with current rewards and events and 40v40?

It sure would make getting those Nemesis achievements done a lot easier.

BFA wasn’t really that bad… Island expeditions I despised completely but if it did anything really wrong, it hung around too long. I never minded the leveling part of it but like WOD the end was at times lacking.

Considering we don’t get the full prepatch yet and sl is delayed we could still have months of this.

I see only offlines before me…

We can never go back and yet i wouldn’t want to.

At least Oribos is a pretty hub with a more mild musical score, I got tired of the bombastic Zandalari symphony in Zuldazar within the first day.

The first two seasons were pretty decent for the most part.

Freeeeeedooooom!

eh, With the new patch: Armor and the environment is broken. being at Lv 50 is like running out into an open field of Lv 60 or higher and becoming insta-killed. They should’ve left the Lv 120 alone

ā€œBFA, you were the worst expansion everā€
… and ā€œbut I still kept playing because I’m such a toolā€.

This. BfA had a lot going for it. The story managed to generally entertain and engage even someone like me who has ZERO interest in the faction war. The zones were well designed, beautiful and interesting with reasons to go out in them. The dungeons were great. The raids were very good. They screwed up with azerite, but there’s at least one screw up with every expansion and azerite wasn’t their worst mistake ever even from the start.

The problems were the added systems at the end messed it up big time. Heart essences weren’t so terrible, but if we were going to have them, they should have been in from the START of the expansion – not have them barfed up into our laps over halfway through the expansion as a fully formed system which needed to be IMMEDIATELY leveled to full. Also, method of acquiring them by needing to participate pretty damn fully in utterly EVERY aspect of the game was completely ridiculous.

Corruptions have no excuse. They were awful on every level. Acquiring them was awful. The extreme lack of balance in them was awful. Needing to screw around with earning ā€œresistanceā€ to them was awful. (Keeping in mind the actual acquisition of the cape wasn’t something I had a big issue with… it was spending forever leveling it for what amounted to an endless drag.) Using corruptions was not fun in the slightest for all the exact reasons I posted about when they were announced. Things like… ā€œyeah, because moving at RP WALK SPEED is the first thing I’ve always wanted to have happen when I’m trying to move out of the endless crap on the floor in raidsā€¦ā€ and having to deal with wipe after wipe to ā€œhyuk hyuk hyuk… gee, sorry guys… my corruption!!ā€ :expressionless: I will never miss them and hope to never see them again.

Essences, quickly followed by corruptions, basically just shot every alt I had in the head. Fully functional alts became immediately useless with no way to keep up unless you lived nowhere but in game.

I still rate WoD worse than BfA but corruptions really closed the gap between the two for me…
