I started playing when dungeon finder was a thing, I played all the way from wrath to the cataclysm expansion before I got addicted to league of legends and stopped playing.
I’m now back in WOTLK classic and enjoying my time on maladath. Finding players with the system now is great in my opinion, I never ran to dungeons or had to run out when I played retail, I never felt like I owed the people in my group anything, we were there for one thing, finishing the dungeon. When I join dungeons now there is chat there is learning there is a pace that doesn’t feel automated it’s very nice, When I started TBC classic I joined and couldn’t find anyone to run rage fire chasm on benediction so I quit playing, I badly wanted dungeon finder to be added but I’m glad it wasn’t. I have to take time and enjoy the journey, enjoy the wait of questing in the area while gathering members that are there with you waiting to and it’s down to one thing I think, when we were young we loved games and took our time exploring every aspect acting as big testers, now a days we are grown and don’t feel as if we have time to do these things. But we do you just have to get out of the attitude, don’t forget this isn’t a race, this competitor attitude I picked up from league of legends has absolutely ruined other games for me. I’m forcing myself back to take it slow, having a positive attitude. Playing this really brings back the feeling of community in the game. When I get invited to a party I feel like I owe that team something, I don’t act stupid or an butthead, because most likely I will see these guys again down the road and they will remember my name, on retail you can act a fool.
The most socializing that is done on the server is late at night when the LFG chat is not as active with people LFG. People talk on the LFG tool and that’s where the socializing takes place on the server.
Good news that’s nobody because RDF isn’t entering the live game of WOW Classic, and so can’t be removed.
The way you phrase this tho (entitled and beligerent) shows me why this isn’t obvious to you tho…

I think they should require to add someone on FB before you can group with them, and you should have to facetime them before being able to do heriocs
How about instead of same server, how about same rl city only?
That way its only locals you can go out and get to know you play with.
Thats a good idea, you shouldnt be allowed to group with someone you cant hangout with in person on the weekends
Honestly you should have to do a LAN party for any group content

The reason they dont want RDF is because they dont have friends irl and the game is the only thing that feeds them their desperate need for socialization.
If it werent for forced interaction they wouldnt have interaction at all

Actually, a dev specifically stated that LFG wasn’t to find dungeons, it was to find friends.

Look, I have been playing WoW since launch and EQ since it launched. I have talked to and met a LOT of people. I spent time on the forums.
I can tolerate doing things with people in this game to meet short term goals.

Are you high? The LFG tool doesn’t work if you don’t spam in chat every few minutes. And works nowhere near as well as RDF which required me to press “join queue” and allowed me to go do other stuff in the meantime. You people are so disingenuous its actually annoying at this point.
